The only way for you not to feel the salt for being ditched...

Is to become the salt itself,
and have everyone to throw more salt at you.

On a serious note, there's no way you can continue on with life as if nothing happened when someone ditched you in any RP, especially not after you put in so much effort into the world and characters... only for an ass player/partner to throw everything you've been building up into the trash.

Don't you ever look down on a creator's pride. Unless you're one of those jerks who don't have one.
