[@Dark Wind] Man, FFVII. I have a lot of emotional attachment to this game's music as it was one of my first real RPGs growing up. It's probably the only Final Fantasy game that managed to instill a true horror aspect. That song and Jenova's theme both have a sort of eldritch, alien terror attached to them that really bring together the game's atmosphere. 8/10 for me. Speaking of atmosphere, Ocarina of Time, especially the music. This one is really a perfect final boss battle for me. The galloping cadence of the snares sets the pace of the fight, and the melody creates a solemn mood of finality, destiny. Just two souls on the battlefield, irrefutably ending an age-long conflict.
