[indent][i]Mat as he prefers to be called when away from home is a typical tween boy who is obsessed with video games, and getting into trouble. While many children are close with their families Mat seems to be the outcast so to speak, preferring to stay away and spend the night with his friends instead. In fact, the only sibling he can stand is Tatiana as he feels she's a role model. Very bright, Mat does well in all his classes without really having to apply himself, evidence that he is in the wrong classes though he would probably commit murder if someone tried to move him out and away from his teammates and friends. A true team player, he plays on the Baseball team, football team, and basketball team and the sense of responsibility and sportsmanship is deeply ingrained inside him.[/i][/indent]

Brought up much the same way as his siblings with the perfect expectations and constant parental supervision it wasn't hard to begin getting rebellious. He defied his parents most of his early childhood even, though he always knew how to toe the line, bringing both his mother and father to a boiling point and then finding a way to simmer it back down.
