The situation was stable for now at least. Salissa quickly meet up with Rykarn through the smoke and soon their resident turian specter also came, slashing husks on the way to and from. It was fine. The human herself quickly got to work on the husks that were there. Their mechanical carcasses were rather well suited for punching bags! She used her omni shield in a manner similar to how Aegon was using his blades. Granted there was a distinct difference in a fighting methods consisting of shields than to swords. For one the shield was heavily blunt weapon. With each swing and bash on their way away from the collapse, crunching and cracking sounds could be heard from each of her targets. 

 Suddenly as they had gotten nearly back to the firing line, she heard the turian shout something about the drell to do and having no other choices in the matter, she rapidly jumped to the closes cover that wasn't really even complete cover, just a tipped off rock that didn't cover her completely, luckily her omni shield was providing the rest of the protection.

 The rest of the mines detonated in force. The chucks of concrete were thrown everywhere as if fired from cannons. Salissa could hear them impact in the rock she took partial cover behind and into her omni shield. The chucks of concrete shattered into pieces mostly, but not without cracks forming into the outer layers of her omni shield. Outer layers and also even the middle layers! Seems the earlier escapades had weakened it. Now that she ran a moment of thought, she did remember it's been a good while since she had the time to take care of her equipment properly. There always seemed to be something to do, orders to complete from the alliance that she barely had time left! She just hoped the shield would hold for the moment.

 As the flying concrete pieces were settling down, one of the last that impacted her shield broke off a piece off from the top of it. A shard then flew past her face, scratching into the energy barrier field created by her armor. No damage done overall, but it sure was taxing on the armor's energy.

 Finally the flying shrapnels were over so she jumped to her legs, only to see Giles more or less burried and Ellis being saved by Vella moments later. All was fine, but the drell didn't look in too great of a shape. Salissa saw that the other krogan, Skarr was already by the drell with the possible intend of helping.

 “He'd need more than just a hand in this...” Salissa stated, her omni shield vanishing as she almost slid on the ground to her knees.” Hold it there, this's gona hurt, but can't administer any medigel with you under the rubble...” She stated, yanking the drell by the collar, before with her order hand beginning to administer the healing substance to his wounds with utmost haste.” Next time check your shields...” She stated. 

 “You think this is bad?” She asked with a smirk, her medigel wasn't the specialized kind that had great absorption rates specially for aquatic species, but it would do in the pinch their situation was.” You should have seen this place while the reapers were here! But damn it it wasn't also strangely fun.”
