Well, your characters might hear of the attack/shooting in the news or on the radio. You can also have one of the your characters living near the crime scene and going there to see what happened (after backup has arrived of course).

Just read your first post, and it’s a pretty good start outside of some blurbs in the tense department. That said, how do you want me to incorporate into this—playing the homicide detective who arrives on the scene once Officer Callum reports it in? Right now it seems like a decent opening, but I’m unsure of how you want the scene to be interacted with.

Yeah, you could have your arrive to the scene with the backup and the ambulance as well. I should of made that clear.

Just realized detective’s wouldn’t be appropriate to respond to a situation, so I had to think how to make it work. I thought back to how cops have certain rituals like having a veteran officer ride along for a rookie’s first ride which made me think to Richard Levitski, David’s nephew. I’d also like to formally apologize about my inconsistencies despite both of us knowing that my schedule around this fluctuates. I hope I haven’t let you down regardless of that fact, however.

For me, the story is interesting enough that I want to play it until the end. Other than that, the game should of been delayed until July or early September. And there are no quarians to be seen in the game so far.

Added a few character placeholders so I don't lose my place in terms of future introductions.

EDIT: Posted. Changed my mind on my post again, and it ended up shorter than I wanted and with a weird introduction that I hope is alright.
