So Lunala was sort of the patron Pokémon of Stillwater. Charlotte always found interesting the types of Pokémon that were intelligent enough to exert guardian-like behavior… examples of which include the elusive legendary beasts of Johto, of which she had only heard of.

“Why don’t you get a little sleep?” Charlotte agreed, pulling out a laptop with an Aether Foundation vinyl sticker on the cover. She inserted the power cord into the port on the laptop and handed the pronged plug to Charjabug, who bit onto it and started humming with electricity, charging Charlotte’s computer. There was no Internet connection, but Charlotte just needed to compile the notes she made that day. “I’ve got a bit of work to do.”

She placed her computer on a wooden table and started to compile her notes.

Wimpod skittered onto Charlotte’s laptop and sat.

“Wimpod, what did I say about crawling on my laptop while I was using it?” Charlotte chided, gently picking the isopod Pokémon up off the keyboard and setting it on the table.

Wimpod chittered and hopped into Charlotte’s lap, before settling. Wimpod was quite light and frail, and didn’t put that much weight on Charlotte. Charlotte patted Wimpod’s head.

“I’ll give you some food when I’m finished working, ‘kay? I know sometimes I forget,” Charlotte said. “Thanks for reminding me.”

Charlotte corrected the error caused by Wimpod’s frantic legs skittering all over her keyboard.

“It could be like one of those things that just has eyes,” Juana suggested. “Like, Golett, maybe?”

She jotted down the pattern on the statue’s body: three multicolored eye-like lights on either side of the bronze strip, and the black divots up and down said strip.

She glanced towards Tora. Back in Feyhollow, she seemed quite skittish, as if it were outright dangerous for her to be in one place for too long.

“Well, this sure was an interesting trip. Cill’? Tora? Wanna hit the strip, pick up anything we need, and figure out where to go next?” she suggested.
