He also suspected that there was something in the fruit that was helping out because he felt great! He didn't say anything or make any kind of boosting action like his bird like opponent; Instead all he did was get a firm grasp of the shaft of his hammer just under the head with one hand with the other was placed on the back of the hammer head itself while he waited. He didn't have to wait long for the harpy to respond to his earlier taunt, lunging at him with intent to drive her spear into his gut. He waited until she was within range, having committed to the strike before he made his move; As her spear came upwards, he swung the wooden shaft of his hammer to smack into her spear so that it went right by hitting it just under the pointed head while taking a step to the left to ensure that he was out of the way... and in the perfect position to push the head of his hammer towards the winged vulture's face. There wasn't a lot of power behind the blow in and of itself, but he was presenting an unmovable object for her to slam into head first while using her own momentum against her. Letting go of the back of the hammer head, Luigi 'threw' the hammer upwards so that he could take a hold of the shaft near the bottom so that he could swing it down properly in order to take advantage of the opening created when the winged woman had ran face first into an unyielding hunk of metal to bring his hammer down on something important with a small roar of rage escaping his throat. If it wasn't enough to finish the cow wasn't important; Noticing Odin's fire attack, Luigi turned to ran in order to avoid getting caught up in the attack itself, bending down long enough to scoop up the red hat as he attempted to dodge out of the way of the fireballs... If the harpy that had stolen his brother's hat hadn't been killed by his hammer, he would throw that napple core that had been left behind by the fruit he had eaten back at her in an attempt to stun her long enough to get caught up in her master's attack. It didn't matter if she died by his own hand or not, just as long as she was dealt with. Shoving his brother's cap into his pocket for safe keeping, Luigi looked around the battlefield to try and get an idea of the current situation and how many hostiles were left standing.
