Yeah, this is pretty much the final chance for @LChris314 to return. Nothing happens, the jailor will strike at Mistletoe in a possibly more lethal manner.

@Hekazu Erk Kenza wouldn't want Mistletoe to die since such would dramatically decrease the party's overall strength, so she might be doing (or be prepared to do) something suicidal if the gargoyles are as strong as I think they are....

Yeah, that. I mean, worst comes to worst we can use her as a meatshield. That's how I feel out of character anyway, Derrick aint the type to let people die either :P

The staircase leads upwards for two floors until it comes to a point where the way itself has broken down, but technically would still continue. Both of the floors seem similar to the one you came from: Just a hallway heading somewhere else. If the group decides to head for the uppermost floor they can easily reach, they'll notice a window on the side. Unfortunately a spruce has thrown it's branches in front of the view.

I believe you two can handle Mistletoe for now. It would be wrong for me to play her... she would have too much knowledge about things to happen. She will have stopped on the floor you want to explore.

No sign of the Jailor after leaving him on the lower floor.

@Lord of Evil Wanna cover the window part? I'm thinking they could try to get out somehow and use the tree to climb out, but if the branches are too thick....

Well, getting out of the creepy castle is the priority, so i dunno. And feel free to take over Mistletoe as well -- let's just share rights for her? I'm picturing her as a more reserved, kinder, and hesitant person that Kenza... you?

Well, judging by the staircase, this is probably a fortress tower, and if that's true then the windows would be too small to climb out of as they're usually only small enough to let archers shoot out of it.

As for Mistletoe, I dunno. In terms of who's handling her, I don't mind if you control her, as shared control seems like it would be sort of odd. As for her personality, I wouldn't say she was more hesitant. She'd be quieter maybe, although that's just going off the personality part of the sheet (in the rp it was more like she didn't say much but that's sorta similar).

Well yeah, anyway, I suppose I'd prefer it if you took Mistletoe but I'm not exactly against it.

@Lord of Evil Windows -- do you suppose the hunters could use the monster's blast beams (whatever they're called) to break down the walls and make their escape? If not... I dunno what else they'd do right now haha

And sure I'd be open to taking over Mistletoe. I agree that she's probably not hesitant (being a hunter and all), and quieter for sure. Mk then, I'll be looking forward to your post?

@Hekazu Can we get a little more info on the window? How big is it, how sturdy, and would the group or the monsters be able to break the rocks down?

It is pretty much like Lord of Evil guessed, a very small window akin to an arrow slit. Not quite as small, but even if the glass on it were to be broken one could not squeeze out of the hole. With what tools you have, enlarging the gap would be impossible.

They indeed have windows and they truly do not really fit into a fortress. There is no mistake here.
