Maybe I will need a very short collab with Ventus soon.

Also, Enkidu? And here I was thinking I was going too far by referencing old Mesopotamian cities so blatantly.

By all means. Any particular subject for the collab in mind?

If it's those magical horns scattered across Galbar, I'm now thinking that perhaps it makes more sense for Aihtiraq to create those. But of course Ventus could still do it if you want that to be collab material.

Also, Enkidu? And here I was thinking I was going too far by referencing old Mesopotamian cities so blatantly.


Naaah, you're fine on that account. As in for me, I draw more Greek inspiration for his character. The name Enkidu just fits better with the other Vetruvian names. Rest assured I'm not doing a complete copy of the Epic of Gilgamesh, awesome as a retelling might be.

Honestly I wasn't expecting anyone to get the allusion. I guess more people know about Mesopotamia than I expected.

@Cyclone Actually, it is just that after re-reading some of my posts I felt like the whole Celestial Citadel situation was not explored properly by me, your post made me realize that to an extent. Either way, she was going to visit it to talk with some elementals anyway, so I imagine a talk with Ventus would be more proper than a sneaky visit.

Also, the Enkidu stuff was just teasing, it's nice to see people interested in such topics.

He can see the future. He tries to make a difference one person at a time, bringing hope to the most desperately miserable that he encounters.

He really, really wants people to be happy. And he really, really wants them to wish for the right things.

...but alas, he's such a nice guy that he'll grant any wish in his power to give if the person insists against his warnings. Even if he knows it'll kill them :/

In an upcoming post, I'm doing some stuff with alchemy. So I've been doing research, finding what kind of chemistry/alchemy the ancients did. I have just fully realised that alchemy was full of all kinds of mystical stuff on top of the chemistry, and that I can actually use that mystical stuff in this setting. I don't have to design magical alchemy from scratch.

I have more reading to do.

I just saw those videos and thought, "God, I'm tired of Game Theory," then I saw the icon and realized that it was Gnoggin. Good shit, man, good shit.

@Vec, Thank you. I've watched the first video so far. That should save me some digging, and give me some inspiration.

P.S. I have made a whole bunch of notes. Now, maybe, when designing potions, I can actually have some method to their design rather than picking random ingredients which seem to fit (although I'll probably still do a bunch of that too).

P.P.S. Oh, where did all the hours go?

I promise, Im still here too. But I was presented with this antique watch that's consuming 95% of my waking hours. On one hand, there's no replacement parts so Im making everything myself, I'm pretty much learning how to restore/recast bronze basings, and I'm not the ideal guy to hand this too. Like, I can name 10 better guys.

....on the other hand, if I finish this? That pays my bills for the next year. Soooooooooooooooo.... if a room full of monkeys can write Shakespeare, I think I got this.
