With a chuckle, Ella glanced down at the Piplup.

[color=hotpink]"Rudeness? How so?"[/color] she asked Leisy. [color=hotpink]"She seems pretty friendly."[/color] As Naunet gave Allsort a cautious stare, keeping her distance, Ella began to understand what Leisy might mean... She didn't blame the Piplup for being nervous around Pokemon she didn't know, though. Tension stiffened her body as she kept her eyes on the two Pokemon, recalling how quick to get into a fight Brighteye had been back in the Pokecentre room. She kept her grip on the Pokeball, in case Allsort did the same.

Edging forward, Allsort sniffed at the Piplup, letting out a chattering noise. As he visibly relaxed, so did Ella. Maybe she'd been a little too worried about letting her Pokemon get along with others, just because of that one incident.

She tensed again as something rustled in the bushes. [color=hotpink]"Careful!"[/color] she said to the Pokemon, who spun in the direction of the noise. She took a step back. [color=hotpink]"Something's in there!"[/color]

The first place Florence headed to was the mart, to pick up a trainer's basic supplies. 

[i]Wow... That's a lot of trainer points already,[/i] she thought as she checked her Pokedex. As she purchased a Pokeball and a Potion, she asked the woman at the till if she'd seen any lost-looking Cutieflies around. It turned out she hadn't, but another trainer, browsing the stock, piped up.

[color=goldenrod]"Well, I saw one darting through the park earlier,"[/color] he replied. [color=goldenrod]"It looked pretty frantic, but I only caught a glimpse of it before it hid."[/color]

The park. A place Florence knew well. [color=springgreen]"Oh! Where did it hide?"[/color] she asked, eyes widening.

[color=goldenrod]"It disappeared behind a bench,"[/color] the boy replied. [color=goldenrod]"Next to the lavender plants."[/color]

Florence gave a grateful smile. [color=springgreen]"Thanks, I'll go look there right away."[/color] As she left the mart, relief settled over her at the thought that the first Cutiefly might be easy to find... Then again, for all she knew, this Cutiefly could just be one of the wild Pokemon Vernie had startled earlier.

It was worth checking, though, just in case.
