[@Liotrent] Well, its about on what front we want to play this, by the black sun backing Konev or backing Lucretia. If its Konev then its simple, the little democrat faction I'll introduce will be the one to serve as a bridge between the Black Sun and the admiral, that or years ago during the open rebellion, Konev purposefully spared a lot of the leadership knowing they'd owe him and he's calling in any favor he has. If its Lucretia, we pretty much have to go the way of Lucretia mercifully allowing them to escape, hell, maybe she even gave them a message that when the time is right the both of them would work toward the same goal. [@6slyboy6] I'm honestly just trying to make a phantom bogeyman for every common man to pin everything that goes wrong with the empire without coming out as anti-emperor. Stagnation? Fucking nobles draining the system man. Inflation? The nobles printing money so they don't have to work man! And the idea that obviously, the emperor is the most badass person out there and would instantly solve all the problems of the empire if only he had an elected prime minister to point out where the real problems are instead of a court of nobles that lie to him and work only to maintain their own positions. As I said, it doesn't have to be true, its just that people have to believe it. I mean, a lot of racists have never even met a man of color so I figure they don't have to be in contact to hate the nobles. Kind of like the global jewish conspiracies and what not. [@Sophrus] As I said, Konev will offer big promises behind the scene, say that once the humans realize how reliable and trustworthy the xenos are they will be able to push for more rights and so forth, buttering up the aliens that way. But remember that meanwhile, Lucretia is working in the background and laying the plan. Humans are all full of shit, Konev moreso than others, but if we just openly revolt, the more numerous and better established humans will crush the xenos, so we have to grin a bear it... for now. Wait for the right moment to show our true color.
