Okay, so my questions are: 1. Limitations and ranges. How far can Anton teleport himself or something else? 2. Does Anton need to be touching something to teleport it? 3. What would happen if a Draoi tried to cast a spell without a focus? 4. How is advancement handled? Is Anton, as a weak, out-of-practice Draoi, completely unable to cast anything besides teleportation spells, or can he perform other Lux spells with less proficiency? 5. Enchantment and alchemy. How long does it take to enchant something, how much can it do, and what limitations are there? And what can be done with alchemy? I've probably got more questions, so I'll write them as they come to me.
1. Range should likely be kept in a two to five mile radius. This could fluctuate pending what exactly Anton is teleporting with him. 2. Up to you, if he was a Hyperhuman I would say yes but because his teleportation is based in Vis manipulation he could cast it without physically touching an object if you so wish. I would suggest keeping it to objects within visual range. But you could make it so he can summon items via teleporting them from say his apartment. 3. Without a conduit, a Draoi channeling the Vis is like using a wire with too small of a gauge for the current going through it. So while the wire will transfer the current, it's also burning itself out until it destroys itself. Likewise, a Draoi might be able to cast a spell or two without a conduit but it's going to be incredibly harmful and ultimately lethal. 4. He can perform other spells with less proficiency. In terms of advancement, I just look to you as a writer to develop your character preferably in a natural way. There may be times in the IC where time is skipped and you can have your character develop off screen as well. Ultimately as the RP progresses and Anton uses his abilities, it is assumed his proficiency and skill is also increasing. 5. Enchantments are limited to a single effect per item. The time to create and potency of an enchantment is directly related to the Draoi performing it. So a Master Draoi could enchant a cloak to repel almost all forms of harm while a novice Draoi could make the cloak resistant to tears or cuts. The size of the object being enchanted is also a factor to consider. At most, an enchantment is going to take a couple hours to perform. Alchemy and Enchantments are directly related as most enchantments are based in alchemy but alchemy is also directly related to the creation of elixirs. Elixirs are beneficial consumables compared to potions which generally are used for more harmful effects. Due to the time it takes to prepare these concoctions, they are more potent than spells. Elixirs may have permanent effects, such as increasing one's life span but potions often have a much less duration of effect due to the increased potency. However as many potions are lethal, duration of effect isn't much of a concern. Hope that helps.
