Brown is a weary and worrying figure with sickly pale skin, dull brown hair, and dark bags under her rotten brown colored eyes. The girl has a very gaunt, but very fit athletic figure with well toned muscles. On her back are blackened lines, like darkened blood vessels, covering the length of her spine and radiating outwards across her whole back. The lines can be seen front as well, with some of the dark lines peeking up over her shoulders slightly.

Despite looking like a girl about to enact some violent massacre Brown is usually seen with a smile on her face. Her genuine happiness and positive attitude doesn't mesh well with her appearance, making her look even more threatening and unnerving then normal. Her typical nomad attire is made up of a hole ridden brown jacket, a belt in place of a bra, camouflaged khaki pants with a belt and shoulder straps, leg wraps, and battered leather boots. In a fight Brown typically ditches her jacket or any other chest wear other then what's covering the mosquito bites passing for her boobs.

Brown was the result of two powerful Nomads getting together to create a heir worthy of both of their names. Runsu, the Japanese master of the “PUNISHING FIST” and Vegra, founder of the School of the Tranquil Wave fighting style, had been in fierce competition with each other since they were in high school.

It was only after a rare heart to heart did they find their feelings for each other as well as their desire to pass on their teachings and strength to a child.

Ditching the complexities and responsibilities of getting married, the two went to work and in just a few months Vegra had a fully developed ball of life growing inside her. One trip to the hospital later and the vessel which the two Nomads intended to lay all their legacies on was born.

Or so they thought.

It didn’t take long after their daughter’s birth to realize that something wasn’t right. The baby was pale, scrawny, cried constantly, and had dark lines like blackened nerves radiating along and outwards from the spine. Upon taking her to a medicine man the two knew it was revealed what their daughter had.

Senshinobēn or “Warrior’s Bane” was a hereditary disease/birth defect that was infamous for enfeebling the offspring of otherwise flawless fighters. Instead of inheriting the Ki of their parents, those inflicted with Warrior’s Bane were born with Ki levels lower than even that of regular untrained people.

Since the blight was simply apart of who their daughter was, there wasn’t any means to cure or ‘fix’ it. Yet Runsu and Vegra wouldn’t hear any of it. They refused to accept that there was anything wrong with their daughter.

In vein they attempted to train their infant child, pushing her from the moment she could walk to be strong and excel in what they were good at. Yet as the years pressed on and their daughter grew older, her Ki levels remaining absolutely feeble, the two began to lose patience.

During these years of frustration the two came to an agreement over what to name their daughter, something they’d clashed over for constantly until that moment.

Shippai.
The Japanese word meaning failure.

Because that’s all she was to them. One big failure that took up years of their precious lives and just served to mock their efforts to be remembered as powerful fighters.

At just 7 years old the little girl didn’t fully understand what the name they gave her meant, but it didn’t take long for her parents feelings to become clear. One day they woke up Shippai and took her out on a hiking trail far away from their home, far away from everything. Finding a bench along the forest path her parents told Shippai to wait there and left.

They never came back.

For two days she sat and waited for them. Eventually hunger forced her to leave, but she was unable to find her way back home and became lost in the forest. Collapsing amidst the moss and fallen leaves, the little girl was found by a one armed women with fox ears. The women was Matsu, a Kitsune and former nomad who’d been on the rise just a year prior before a match with a particular individual ended with the loss her her arm and the end of her career as a Nomad.

Getting the lost girl something to eat Matsu helped Shippai make her way back home. Upon returning to her house however Shippai found the door locked and through the window she could see it was totally empty.

A nearby realtor explained that the owners of the house had sold the house and it’s contents before separating and heading off to parts unknown.

No number, no message, no remote hint of where they could be. Shippai’s parents were gone.

Abandoned with nowhere to go the little girl didn’t know what else to do but fall to her knees in front of her former home and cry. Unable to bare the sight before her the fox-eared women took the girl back to her home and adopted her as her own.

The first thing Matsu did with her new daughter was give her a proper name. Shippai's old name was thrown away and from then on Matsu began calling her Kasshoku meaning “Brown” like chocolate, hardy fall leaves, and the life giving soil.

With a new start on life Brown was able to put what happened to her behind her for a while. Living with the kind and loving Kitsune healed her wounded heart. The women, who had no blood relation to her, gave her all the things her parents refused too. Affection, understanding, gifts, and a true sense of worth and appreciation.

Even when Brown failed, Matsu never scolded her or berated her. All that waited for her when she did something wrong was kind words and concern for her well being.

Her parent's faces faded into distant memory as she began to go to school and live a normal life in Japan. For a time Brown could hold her head high and smile. Yet as she met difficulties in school and began to get picked on due to her strange appearance, what her parents believed her to be came flooding back.

A failure.

A weakling.

An inferior pile of flesh.

Just the idea of being born automatically lesser than everyone else angered Brown. She began to get into fights at school and her grades suffered. Seeking an outlet Brown began to physically train herself. At first it was blind training, pushing herself, punching trees, burying herself in pain and strain in order to forget her problems.

Matsu eventually learned what was troubling her and offered to help train her. While the former Nomad’s own style was too Ki-based to be used by the blighted girl, she was able to point her in the right direction to develop her own style. Starting with exercises with a Yo-Yo her adoptive mother had gifted her their first Christmas together, Brown slowly grew into a warrior.

Her muscles hardened, her resolve bolstered, and her poultry almost nonexistent levels of Ki expanded. They were still meager even after a decade of training but the fact they’d expanded at all was a testament to Brown’s hard work. When she turned 18 years old Brown left her home in Japan and began to wander the world, seeking to expand her horizons and learn all she could.

Brown fought in back alley brawls, underground cage matches, and in simple grudge matches against gifted fighters flaunting their natural ‘talent’. At first she earned nothing but bitter losses and the taste of her own blood. Yet slowly she began to accumulate wins, pushed harder and harder to succeed and grow as the memory of her parents actions festered inside her.

Many of the people she faced on her journeys tried to convince her no matter how hard she worked, there were some things she simply couldn’t do.

Those people ended up choking on their own teeth with crushed ribs and arms broken like popsicle sticks.

At twenty two years old Brown decided that she would prove her parents wrong. She would become a strong Nomad. The strongest Nomad. She would fight and leave people born ‘better’ than her on their knees crippled and robbed of the gifts they mocked her with.

Brown would make her parents regret what they did and admit they were wrong.

No matter who had to die for that to happen.

Steeling herself Brown got ready to join a fighting tournament in Jio. However Matsu’s instance on making her a packed lunch (which turned into several dozen) caused her to miss the sign ups and the initial rounds of the tournament itself...

Brown’s fighting style is vicious and wholly unrestrained, emulating traditional martial arts to a degree but ultimately boiling down to self-taught bare knuckled improvisation. She focuses on largely Ki-less fighting balanced around close quarters fighting and the swinging of a Yo-yo with a particular use of hard contact strikes over energy based attacks. Closed fists, elbows, knees, and even headbutts, anything to drive into the enemy to make them hurt. Her moves have a balance of reach and verticality, with her Yo-Yo allowing her to strike at enemies who might otherwise be out of reach.

Brown suffers from a hereditary disease that prevented her from inheriting her parents power and started her off in life with far below average Ki. It took her countless years of brutal training just to get to the point of being above average. Even with her best efforts Brown will always have an unimpressive amount of Ki and will be at a disadvantage against those who were born with plenty of it. On top of that she can be incredibly sensitive and easily manipulated by her own feelings of weakness.

Her fighting style, while being balanced and well ranged, lacks any potent Ki-based abilities. Up against a powerful Ki user or a fighter with specialized defense against martial attacks, Brown's in deep trouble.

Despite being a 'Nomad' Brown enjoys making regular trips home when injured or unable to train in order to check up on her adoptive mother. When unable to travel back she makes frequent phone calls (when she can steal a phone or mooch a free call of someone) to her.

Brown is normally a rather pleasant person to be around, despite her tenancies to eat other peoples food and in general act weird. However when it comes to naturally gifted people she can be rather cruel, often going out of her way to intentionally sabotage or ruin things for otherwise good people because she sees them as an enemy due to the breaks they caught in life...

Brown likes going without a shirt and walking around with just a belt covering her chest bits. Why people would have a problem with this is legitimately lost on Brown.

Hank is very tall, with a rugged face and tired eyes. His arms are somewhat shorter than what someone of his height would warrent. His hair is white and slightly spiked, and he usually wears a mask that covers a majority of his face. He sheaths his massive Cleaverblade behind him, and wears a grey stained cape, which he straps his Shank of meat, hook, and frying pan to. He also wears a light-grey shirt, tucked into dark-grey pants, and black rubber boots.

Hank was born in Australia, son of a butcher and a poacher. Unhappy to devote himself to either craft, he decided to study both at once, desiring to sample all of the most exotic creatures throughout the world. By the time he was 16 years old, he was sent to study at culinary school in Italy. There, he befriended Marco Fratello Roberto. As he studied, they both became fantastic chefs, though their different ideals of culinary perfection clashed. Hank prefered plentiful meat, which was easy to produce and could feed dozens of people at once, while Marco preferred exquisite delicacies for those with the tastes to deserve it. Yet their crumbling friendship came to an end once in their final exams, they tied. Marco was outraged that Hank could be tied with him when he put hard effort into his meals, while Hank passed just by drowning a pile of meat in sauce. Hank was outraged that Marco passed, when his food was just tiny slices of pineapple, greenbeans, and sprinkled with rice. Once they both graduated, they went separate ways.
Once graduation was out of the way, Hank returned to Australia and practiced hunting, and made a meal from an aggressive Kangaroo. He then traveled the whole world, hunting down all sorts of animals; From one of a million pigs, to the critically endangered Wooping Crane. Recently, he's set up shop at the Brazilian Fighting Cup, serving meat to spectators and combatants alike. Hopefully, nobody should recognize him...

Nature activists, zookeepers, and wildlife protectors alike have forced Hank to step up his fighting style over the years; Some of his prey have also been extremely deadly, making him turn his normal Cleaver into his trademark Cleaverblade, an extremely heavy 6-foot long Cleaver that can cut through stone like a knife through butter. His fighting style focuses on him usually closing the distance between him and his opponent, and then thrashing his sword wildly at them. He also wields a hook, which he originally bought to reel in aquatic prey, yet proved it's worth in far more than just catching fish... He carries several other tools with him, such as a frying pan, a BBQ-Sprayer, and a hunk of boned meat that's been with him longer than he can remember, fermenting it into a perfect clubbing weapon.

For all of Hank's extreme power and durability, he is extremely choppy and clunky with all that gear. He is also very slow, and can easily be outrun by most opponents. His special utility is also low, as while his special attacks deal high amounts of damage, they are extremely inaccurate and easy to miss their intended target.
