After all, the departure of a cruiser and destroyer escort were logged from Konev's system, likewise they visited several alien homeworlds in the galactic region, each time leaving a similar message. If you dig in the logs at Admiral's Rest actually, you'll even see 'Special Mission, approved by G.A. Konev'. Certainly seems mighty suspicious, but... its all laid there in the open.
