I'm kinda iffy on that. Based on what was written your character didn't have a choice but to figure out how use her powers and had to do it quickly. However she still a kid getting shot at.

Oooh, good. Someone I don't have an opinion on but Violet might. 

It's more "hey can I borrow your gun and your car keys cool I'mma destroy their stuff" sort of thing rather than a "I can totally solo these guys" thing. It might not even be possible in the first place if she can't [s]total[/s] borrow JJ or Ashton's vehicle. 
Though Ashton's would make for some interesting interaction...
