Amy was glad that their battle was over and she was physically unscathed, however, she was even more worried now than before. "I'm fine," she replied to Grayson's question, taking the opportunity to get up on her own two feet, "but just tell me, is my father dead?" Amy was standing across Grayson, although being over half a foot shorter than him meant she was staring at the space just behind his right arm. Even though she had posed the question to Grayson, she wasn't too sure that she wanted confirmation from him. Part of her felt that her father was indeed dead, and that feeling was backed up by the fact that she hadn't heard him run off, yell at his subordinates, or received any other form of confirmation as to his presence. Tears started to swell at the corner of her eyes and before Grayson got a chance to answer, she took away his chance to do so. "You know what, I already know he is..." Suddenly, Amy had an expression of shock and sadness when Grayson refrained from correcting her. She turned around, her face full of tears, and she called out to Maxi so that they could leave. "Let's go." [@Crossfire] [@Tickout] [@PlatinumSkink]
