Hey lug, do you allow non-participants who are interested in the story to vote on the battle's outcomes? Just curious because I find the whole thing fascinating.@lugubrious


I'm afraid not, though I'd be delighted for anyone to read and comment on stuff. I want the people who are able to vote to have a stake in the RP, to be held responsible for their choices, and to have to deal with potential consequences for voting improperly. If someone's not in the RP, none of that is assured.

@ProPro ok here goes G, it's actually two complaints

first off idk if you did it for some sort of stylistic purpose but i'm just gonna say that his first name isn't Hajji - that's just a title musilms get when they've travelled to mecca or medina

and secondly, Serhan comes straight outta mid-19th century Turkey so him knowing about cereal doesn't really fit him

once again gr8 play I like it anyway

@obliviousRoadie Ooooooh yeeeeeah, that's right. I knew about Hajji and Mecca, but forgot about it in this instance. I'll edit it so that it uses his proper name. As for knowing about cereal though, the first pre-cooked cereal (not porridge/oatmeal/gruel) was made in 1863, so unless I'm misunderstanding when he's from it's something he could definitely know about (even if unlikely), though mascots and marketing hadn't occurred yet. :P

@ProPro yeah but serhan's career started off in the 1841 and it was the very early 1850's when he was brought to the tournament so he couldn't possibly know much about cereal other than "a strange food from the western infidels" or something

It is accessible if he's a really good climber, but other than that, it's out of reach for now.
