He had forgotten to put his on! It took him only a minute to fix his mistake, and he let out a sigh of relief, glad to see that the crisis had been averted. Hopefully, that would be the worst thing to plague the wedding--his momentary forgetfulness. Waving at Tiffany as she left, Jack gathered up the few other things that he'd need with him for the wedding. His present to Tatiana wasn't on him, but carefully hidden--Ray and he had spent too much time on it for it to not take her by surprise. "Thanks, man," Jack grinned, returning the most traditional of bro hugs. Once Ray emerged from changing, Jack gave him two thumbs up. "Like a million bucks!" He was getting giddier by the minute, with the moment of his wedding drawing closer and closer. It hardly felt real. He nodded as Ray looked at the time, letting out a deep breath. "Let's do this, man." His smile was ever present on his face, and he held the door for Ray, as they left Miss Sally's apartment and headed towards the wedding site. Everyone in Newnan, except for the bride and the pseudo-father of the bride, would be there. The wedding area designed by Meg took him aback, his jaw dropping slightly. With the condition of the world, he never expected much--but it looked perfect, like a fairy tale. He whistled slightly, moving with Ray to the front. "You okay?" Jack asked, noticing the way Ray sighed.

Beatrice Decker

Location: Franklin Apartment C3 ---> The Wedding Site (Near 10 - Medical Garden)

Beatrice was a few steps behind the lovebirds. There wasn't really any way to avoid it, with their being only one direct route from the Women's Apartment Housing in Franklin to the Wedding Site. Her dress and coat were plenty warm, and Beatrice enjoyed the comfort of wearing boots, rather than heels. If she had to be girlie, she was not going to wear heels. They disgusted her. But at the same time, she noted the development of Amelia and Riley with interest. She had overheard Amelia asking Riley to be her date, having been about to leave at the same time. The pair of them appeared to be well suited to each other, and frankly, Beatrice didn't truly care who dated who. She found all relationships to be irritating and doomed to fail from the beginning, with the entire reasoning of weddings and ceremonies entirely lost on her. The sooner it was over, the better. However, even Beatrice had to admit that weddings brought certain benefits. Rather than the regular rations, the people of Newnan would have a bit of a treat, in the form of a wedding feast. As much as it was more food than they'd need, it was nice to be able to have a bit of a splurge every once and a while. It was a movement towards living, rather than just surviving. Though, if the wedding was as romantic and gooey as she expected, surviving might soon seem preferable to living. Panic encapsulated her, and she clenched her fist, her fingernails digging into her skin. Had she not already been pale, she would have turned as white as a sheet. Taking a slow and shuddering breath, Chloe slowly uncurled her fingers, rubbing slightly at the self inflicted wound. It bled extremely lightly, but the blood didn't replenish itself, thankfully. "Fucking calm down," Chloe chastised herself, even though she knew the source of her panic. The last time she had dressed so nicely, she had been convicted. They sent her back to the Metropolitan Detention Center, where she was supposed to be transferred to a maximum security prison within a few days. Instead, the world had ended. But that did nothing to remove the fear and panic that Chloe felt. We, the Jury, find the defendant to be guilty of the charge of... She shook her head, hoping to change her mind from those memories. Her sister was going to perform at a wedding, at a real event. It didn't help anyone to live in the past--it was time to focus on the present. Leaving the house, she felt the chill of the Georgia snow, regretting slightly that she hadn't had a bit of a longer dress. But she looked fine in it, the very reason she had selected it. Making her way to the wedding area, she smiled a bit as she spotted Riley, making her way over and sitting next to her. "How's the music situation? Any developments?" Chloe asked, subconsciously gripping her hands tightly again.

Ravi Chakrabarti

Location: Five miles west of Newnan, abandoned cabin in the woods

Ravi headed down the staircase in the cabin, coming down from the loft. He had shifted it into a temporary medical bay, but to be truthful, there hadn't been much he could do. The girl had been beyond his help, with the only option available to him was easing her pain as she passed. He had taken care to prevent her reanimation already, and while she had died for what could pass as naturally these days, it still weighed on him heavily. There was nothing he could have done--but Ravi felt obligated to do more. "The poor thing's gone," Ravi said to Gavin, shaking his head slightly. "Did you find the information we need? Or shall I send for the Emperor's Hand to use the powers of the force to persuade the man?" As much as he wished he could have done more for the girl, Ravi was also used to death to an extent. He worked as a medical examiner before the world went to hell, doing his best to solve the murders of some piss poor chaps. It had normalized him to death, keeping it from entirely bewildering and confounding him--even if he could never bring himself to pull the trigger and end the life of another. "I don't imagine scavenging will do much good," Ravi commented, eyeing the three feet of snow outside of the cabin. However, he was perplexed as well. Ravi had heard the loud roar of the engine from before, and he doubted it was a coincidence. The universe was rarely so lazy these days. "Are we expecting more company? Shall I put the kettle on? Pop open a few beers?"
