Andy stared at the mechanical boy as it became obvious going to the wall himself hadn't been the best of ideas. A piece whizzed past him and he paled. That could have been him. Just a moment later Amelie's head seemed to explode as blood, bone and brain exited her head. He closed his eyes for a moment, he didn't have to be a doctor to know that was instant death.

It wouldn't be long now and he took in a deep breath, followed by a slow exhale. Was he ready for the impact? Not at all, but if it had to happen he'd rather have it happen sooner than later.
