ShirouFace Name: Sengo Muramasa, The Crimson Swordsman Class: Beserker Gender: Male Alignment: Chaotic [s]Good[/s] Bloodthirsty Personality: Berserker was a bright and cheerful soul without the worries of staving off the backlash that he received from the infamous reputation of his swords. The news greatly troubled him as he continued to create his swords hesitantly with the same craftsmanship before. With deadly beauty, form, and function they were in the art of war that a single sword was capable of, as dozens of victims would fall for each one. His far-reaching influence of the swords that he made, jaded his view on the world, making him much more pragmatic as he saw the world in all its colors. He is a shell of his former nature, being a silent companion that looks at the world with many things left to be unsaid that he has around him. History: A cursed Heroic Spirit whose life was stained with blood as they ran off the many blades that he made during his lifetime and afterward even past his death. Berserker beyond the name that has been etched into his swords, is nothing more than a blacksmith of infamous reputation gained from the same medium of his renown. As a Heroic Spirit summoned for the Grail War, he does not have past achievements beyond his blades nor any future from them beyond the endless bloodshed that resulted from him creating them. With his death, his infamy continued throughout the work of his blades continuing to shed blood for him. All things that are connected to him all stemmed from the infamous nature surrounding his legend, a person born from such status could be consider ineligible for the status of being a 'heroic' spirit without the corruption of a certain Servant. He is classified as a variable that clarifies 'good between evil' and is equally praised as a 'heroic' spirit would be. Being called 'cursed' or 'a demon' who only made 'demonic' swords for a living as he spread his evil influence over Japan. Praying to demons who would fuel his swords and continue an endless time to hunt our and seek the blood of anyone near them. With some stories that claimed his blades were part of a problem that sustained the war or even started it in the beginning. With no good deeds to his name and technically no bad ones beyond the intimidating reputation that is attached to his name. Berserker cannot be called a pure Heroic Spirit but at the same time being an 'Anti-Hero' is not the correct definition of such a Servant as him. To be summoned into the Holy Grail War, he does not have any wishes other than meeting other people that he couldn't be. Meeting the heroes of the ages would be an honor enough for him. Weapon: The only weapon he will have upon the entering of the Grail War is the true blade of Muramasa, his katana forged from his legend and infamy. Parameters (with Bonus): STR: C (B) CON: C AGI: C MGI: C LCK: E Class Skills: Mad Enhancement: E - A
Beserker is a servant who titters on the boundary of sanity and insanity, hanging on a thin thread that suspends his consciousness from taking a plunge into the deep end. As he struggles with himself every day, being summoned in the Beserker Class does not help a single bit as it makes him more prone to falling to his temptations. With his condition coming from the Oni blood in his veins, he is a particularly serious case of being close to becoming a full Oni should he give in. His madness can become so potent that even his Master is at risk of being killed for blood should he reach that level of instability. Upon being summoned Berserker begins with this skill at E-Rank, in order for this skill to degrade to the next rank, it requires Berserker to draw the blood of another which will increase this to D-Rank. The rank of this skill will increase into C-Rank upon the consumption of any blood of another living being and will prevent him from turning back on the path that he once had. The rank of Mad Enchantment will increase to B-Rank once the blood of 5 different servants has been consumed and be max out at B-Rank for this purpose. At any rank after C-rank, should he be forcefully deprived of blood after two days, this skill is instantly raised by one rank to a maximum of A-rank for this way of achieving it and will decrease once sated by a single rank. Upon the scenario of him entering A-rank Mad Enhancement, Berserker enters a state known as Crimson Red Vermillion and will be past the point of no return for his humanity. With him becoming an Oni at the end of his madness, he'll become e absurdly powerful beyond what the parameters would indicate, but he'd also become incapable of ever returning to normal.
Personal Skills: Innocent Monster: C
While a human in life, anecdotes of Berserker as one who created demonic swords and who prayed to devils has caused him to acquire the traits of a Phantasmal Species referred to as demonic within his culture sphere, namely the oni. This results in acquiring the capabilities accorded to an oni such as Protection from Flames, as well as those accorded to Phantasmal Species more generally, though they are of a much lesser quality than what a true oni would possess. However, with this inhuman nature running thick through his veins, it is difficult to hold back the Inversion Impulse which attributes to his perfect nature of being summoned in this class. It is why the struggle of holding back his thirst for blood is such a trouble for a person like Berserker, who has an influence in his own veins acting against him in a deadly way. While Berzerker will be weak to monster-slayers, the innate abilities of oni will make him stronger than his parameters would otherwise indicate.
Instinct: C
Beserker's skill to feel the developing situation of a battle and at this rank, it resembles a formidable sixth sense from not only his personal achievements but a part of his nature of seeking the perfect opportunity to draw the blood of his opponent. At this rank, it reduces the modifier by a fourth from any obstacles obscuring his vision and hearing.
Kaiju (Transfer Curse): E+++
In this world, curses cannot be broken. A curse that has already taken effect will never disappear, unless one possesses a rare trait on the level of demon exorcism...in other words, unless one can erase human destiny itself. The only functional way to release oneself from a curse, then, is to transfer it into something else. This capability has been acquired by Berserker through synergy with the Noble Phantasm and the legend of his anger and madness entering the blades he forged. It is a talent analogous to a Sorcery Trait that allows Berserker to transfer a curse he has been inflicted with onto a sword of his making, which is then integrated into the sword as a consequence of the Noble Phantasm's nature. Were he inflicted with a curse that restricted healing, for instance, the curse could instead be transferred to the sword, making Berserker capable of healing his wounds and granting that sword the capability to inflict that same curse. However, this can only occur during the forging process of a sword, and if the process is interrupted before completion, then the transfer will not take. Transferring a curse to an already completed sword cannot occur, as this skill is reliant upon simultaneous usage with the Noble Phantasm. Moreover, if the curse has a rank of A or higher on the standard scale, transference will be impossible.
Eye for Art (Swords): B
Beserker's reputation and skill as a one of the best blacksmith at the time made him accustomed to many works of other people seeking to show their own abilities to him. With his skill, he is capable of deducing most of a sword's structural properties from a brief inspection or clash of blades, factors such as weight, brittleness, quality of the metallurgy, whether it leans in one direction or another and so forth. Making them with the quality of masterful pieces and giving them for way less than they were worth, they held a secret that would come with them. With his forged pieces spreading all over Japan, the reputation of not only his craftsmanship spread but the bloody legends that came along with the blades and the fate of their wielders. As the place where he forged all of these blades, accumulating into this Noble-Phantasm which allows Berserker to recreate his personal Blacksmith where he created his swords. It Functions as a High-Thaumaturgy Bounded Field that recreates the personal facilities he had back in life. Creating this specialized Workshop for blacksmithing will allow Berserker to create his bloodthirsty blades provided that he has the materials to make a physical sword. Granting him the ability to become lost in the process of making a sword and vent out his personal issues. After the creation of a single sword, which requires a day of constant work and magical energy supplied by Beserker, it calms his internal turmoil as he places a piece of it into the forged sword. All swords created this way are E-Ranked Noble Phantasms. While its primary ability is for Berserker to create the swords in his legend, the forge is also a place to release his thirst for blood into his swords as a temporary means. With every sword he crafts, a portion of his bloodthirstiness is imbued into metal and drops his Mad Enhancement skill caused by bloodthirst by a single rank. However, at C-Rank Mad Enchantment, this ability will become sealed unless his madness is somehow temporarily pushed back.

Name: Blades of Muramasa Title: The Eternal Bloodthirst Rank: E ~ A NP Type: Anti-Unit / Anti-Unit (Self) Range: 1 - 5 Maximum Number of Targets: 1 Description: While there is no original sword that bore the misfortune of all the legends that his blades accumulated, it became part of his legend as a sword that he wielded. With the legends of the smith naming the sword after himself for his bloodthirsty nature, it spread like wildfire about the bloody swordsman who forged swords that hungered blood. While there was no original sword, the smith that created all of these blades had his own troubles of suppressing his thick blood that was mixed with a demon known as an Oni. As a way of releasing these pent up stress, he moved them into another vessel to bear the burden, thus coming with the legend of his cursed blades. Where he imbued the concept of 'thirst for blood' from himself into the blades and removed them quickly from his sight before he could be tempted. The cursed katana 'Muramasa', bears Berserker's true name on the blade as a signature to the craftsman who made it and his inner struggles. Created from all the legends that surrounded his swords, the blade has the concept of 'endless thirst for blood' and will progressively make Beserker seek out a means to alleviate this. It can be the most 'original' of all his creations as it symbolizes his true self and is treated as an A-Rank Demonic Sword Noble Phantasm beyond his own capabilities of crafting a katana of this quality. With ll other creations that Beserker makes of it are a pale imitation of it and cannot reach the same degree that truthfully represents the same cursed sword forged beyond simply bloodshed but fear and stories that ingrained their essence into the sword. Tainting its nature and creating it into an A-Rank Demonic Sword Noble Phantasm that invites the possibility of a red painting when drawn in combat. However, the other copies of this blade that Berserker makes from his forge begin as an E-rank Noble Phantasm that bears the same concept as the original but much weaker. With each time they taste the blood of a unique individual, they will consume it hungrily as its rank increases by one. Causing its attacks to become more and more accurate as they continue to actively desire and seek out the blood of their victims with each rank they grow. At higher ranks, wounds from the blades will also cut deeper and be harder to heal from, while at A rank the blade's curse will extend to drawing the opponent's blood as a minor injury even if parried. This phenomenon is caused due to the power of the curse on the Muramasa blade forged by infamy and legends that have given it the ability to affect the outside world without the touch of its medium. The only problem is that these fake blades can only reach the rank of B where the forgeries cannot pass the barrier that separates the original and fake.

E-Rank: No special properties, other than the subconscious pull on the mentality to draw the blade
D-Rank: Once the blade has tasted blood, it will not stop in its quest for sustenance. With the sword becoming more accurate and precise in its attacks on the opponent. Passively increasing in rank with each rank the blade asscends into misfortune.
C-Rank: More victims to the blade draw out the concept that has been imbued in the blade, making its attacks more precise than before and its drive to find blood is strengthened. Wounds inflicted by the sword seem to bleed more than normal as it prevents the blood from clogging partially but will stop after a time as the body is able to overcome it naturally if you are a trained magus. Those who are not able to push the curse out of their system will continue to bleed unless treated.
B-Rank: As the number of victims begin to stack that these false blades have taken, it becomes restless as it seeks to harm anyone whether it be an opponent or ally in its search for blood. With the curse on these swords being a poor copy, any wounds inflicted by the sword do not stop unless treating it by magical means or proper medical treatment to stop it.
A-Rank: Only the true Muramasa forged from infamy and the legends that created it, can achieve this rank that causes the sword to be more potent than imaged. With its harrowing and endless quest for blood that does not care who are its victims whether they are allies or opponents. It is an inhumanly accurate weapon combined with Berserkers own skill that seem to go hand-in-hand with each other, making them a dangerous duo. The curse that has been imbeded into this blade is so potent that it can inflict minor wounds even if it does not clash with the flesh of its opponents such as when being blocked or parried. With the effect caused due to the curse as it extends from how potent it is and manifests itself outside the blade. With the wounds inflicted by this sword being unable to be magical or mundanely healed due to the lingering curse that prevents it from being healed as it continues to naturally bleed from the wound itself.
