A lesser known celebrity outside of the racing world, Jason enjoyed the media coverage, always wanting to be the first to put a word in on interviews for TV and the Press. He has his comedian side, and always tries his best to make light of any situation. Jason had a pretty normal family life and normal childhood., apart from being a total motorhead. Jason is an absolute extrovert and very outgoing, never shying from a conversation. He's criticised for being a bit too showy, but why not fit the boots you're given right? Jason loves to show off! Once he gained a reputation for being one of the cleanest racers in the underground, he quickly climbed the ranks of professional racing, winning 3 out of 5 Major Circuit races, the two losses being his first and last circuits. This was around the time his powers started manifesting, and the first ever use was caught on TV when Jason was in his last race. Attacking the corner just a bit too hard, Jason collided into the barricade, somersaulting onto the field. However, he had landed on his feet, and instead of barrelling and ending up into a crumpled mess, he landed staggered and running before speeding off, reaching the spectator's box in a blink of an eye. As soon as he could, Jason left the track, and announced his retirement from the Racing World. However, it wasn't exactly... hidden, that he joined the Coalition, it was important to Jason that the organisation had faces the public could recognise and trust, and to tell them that they were normal people before becoming 'Enhanced', not some beings from another universe or monsters made from some Government lab. Jason contributed a hefty sum of money into the Coalition before taxes were used to fund them. [sub][h3][b]⋙: Ｐ Ｏ Ｗ Ｅ Ｒ Ｓ[/b] [sup][b]＆ Ｆ Ｉ Ｇ Ｈ Ｔ Ｉ Ｎ Ｇ Ｓ Ｔ Ｙ Ｌ Ｅ[/b][/sup][/h3][/sub] [hr] [u]A B I L I T I E S[/u] [h2]Super-Speed[/h2] Blur appears exactly how his name suggests to the average eye when using his power. His Super-Speed abilities involve his movement, and reaction times too, just short of a femtosecond. He's also gained enhanced stamina too. -Cyclone Lock= By running around in a circle, Jason can quickly create a small vortex surrounding an enemy, lifting them up in the air and even making the air harder to breath. -Rolling Thunder Blitz= The classic 'rolling thunder' boxing technique is amplified immensely when it's combined with Jason's super-speed, delivering ten consecutive punches in less than three seconds. -Perception Slow= Thanks to his reactions, Jason can recognise and react to situations way more quickly, as he runs so fast, things will look "slow" to him. -Multi-terrain Traversal= His speed and agility allows Jason to traverse all sorts of terrain, including water! With his power, Jason has become overconfident, and this makes him get cocky, landing him in some bad situations. Jason doesn't tire when he's "normally" running, but in combat, fights are over quick for him, so long fights are outside his expertise. As well as this, Jason has had no formal fighting training, so doesn't use any kind of martial arts or traditional techniques. [u]C O M B A T[/u] Jason prefers a blitz style to fighting, dashing in and out to continuously change his range and distance from opponents. Jason gladly takes hits for his teammates or innocent civilians and reducing civilian casualties as quickly as possible is always his first priority. An example was when Blur defused an aggressive bank robbery involving hostages. When Blur arrived on the scene, the hostages just suddenly disappeared right before the criminal's eyes, a green streak left in their place, one by one before Blur stood in the middle of the five robbers. One of the robbers fired his pistol and Jason just a couple of metres away. The bullet was redirected, hitting a chair diagonally from the group, before they all ended up on the floor, either having their legs swept away or punched in the back of the head, flooring them from the momentum. Zoomed out one by one to the police van, Jason even took the courtesy of swiping handcuffs of the officers on the way to the van to cuff the criminals. The helmet offers a HUD for Jason, bringing up the distance between him and objects and people, as well as a Speedometer, but that's mostly for him. [/hider] Outside of his suit, Jason usually wears flannel shirts (usually a colour like red, green or yellow with black lines on top) and jeans, paired with the latest designer sneakers he can get.
