Lua looked ahead in the line, confused by the commotion and why it had stopped. He was surprised to be greeted with his former ally, and two men, one around Lua's age, though no doubt taller, the other a bulky hulk of a man holding him up. Watching the man shove a steak into the other boy's mouth harshly caused Lua decided that he didn't need a lunch tonight. With that, he put away his tray quietly and walked towards one of the open tables, an empty one that had room for others. He'd be sure to try to comfort the boy with the meat in his mouth, but he dared not get in between the monster of a man that held him until it seemed dire. What was he to do? To that man, Lua was a mouse, he'd quicker be stepped on than be of any use after all. he just watched with worry, a lump in his stomach that told him this was not something good.
