Even though Amy followed closely behind Maxi, she didn't necessarily need his help to navigate back to the ship. The hallways were not structured like a maze, making it relatively easy for her to make her way back alone. But she did appreciate his presence as he provided an additional layer of protection in case they were caught off guard again, as was likely the case. For the most part, the walk back to the ship was quiet as Amy's head was a complete mess. First Are'x betrayal, now her father. Nothing had gone right for her so far, but she would definitely get her answers once everyone else made their way back as well.

Once they were back in the ship, Amy thanked Maxi and made her way to her room. She would take a shower, attempt to clear her head, and talk to Grayson the moment he returned with the others.
