Ambrose exhaled and blinked slowly, taking a moment to evaluate how much of an effect the drink was having on him. He wasn't shit-faced yet, which was lucky. Mostly he felt comfortably warm and everything people said made a giggle burst from his chest. The second drink he sipped more slowly, careful to not push his limits. He didn't want to black out during the evening. He didn't really know anyone here, not even Caleb who he had just met today. "Yeah, what did she say?!" Ambrose cut in, stepping close to Alex with narrowed eyes. With his current state, his actions were unweighted by his usual social anxiety. He only backed off to give room for Alex to fix Caleb another drink. Taking the chance to keep working his way through his second cup. "Big boy..." He snickered to himself before Caleb caught his attention once more with his wink. It took a second for Ambrose to register his offer. His gaze shifted from the pulsing dance floor and the dazzling smile of the man in front of him. "Oh god, I'm going to do this." He said, his inner voice was practically screaming at him to stop and just go back to the dorm. But old habits die hard, and Ambrose simply couldn't resist the charms of the pretty face in front of him. Ambrose drowned the last of his drink and grabbed Caleb by the wrist. He led them to the dance floor, and the pair was practically consumed by the crowd immediately. In his haze, the rest of the people seemed to melt together and only Caleb was the one in focus. Music pounding in his ears, the scene was almost like a dream. But it felt liberating to let go and just feel the beat pulse through him. Ambrose moved his body to the tempo, pulling Caleb in close so he could feel the heat between their bodies. Ambrose's movements had a certain grace to them, and it showed he knew what it was doing. The rhythm moved his hips and beads of sweat appeared on his forehead.
