The GM taking on more of a dungeon master role, providing corporations with challenges and such in a round based system. It gives people something to do other than scramble around or sit on their hands.

More defined technology. These corporations are constantly innovating to get a leg up on the competition; they gotta know what has already been invented.

Maybe some kind of stat system because I like gamey aspects.
