It might honestly be above-average, but that's speaking more against average than it is speaking for GITS. 

I know people keep comparing the city to Blade Runner, but honestly (and I'm surprised I haven't heard this anywhere else) all I could think about was Repo! the Genetic Opera. Which is [i]again[/i] interesting, because that remake did about the same thing for its subject matter as GiTS.
