[@Tangletail]Roze asks me about lore before she posts via PM. I never mentioned there was a 'Silver Oil' though I suppose you're getting that from the Witcher. 

Also, I don't mind your guy having met a Vampire or two, but they're never common anywhere. 

However yes, forging Silver into a blade will make it softer.
