[@JaceBeleren] What about in the case of the humans themselves? Would they be too distrusting or different to have any positive relations with the Xenor Kingdom? Or would they possibly follow the saying "keep you friends close, and keep your [possible] enemies closer"? [@Klomster] Yeah, it is pretty much re-chargeable, re-usable ablative armor, which takes some time to recharge the shields once depleted, but can viably be re-deployed in battle once it recharges. Good for long or protracted instances of combat, where having this shield allows troops to last longer in combat than the average, but finds less use in very fast, quickly-ending instances of combat where it can be depleted but does not have the time to recharge before the battle is over. As for the shield's durability, i am still trying to decide this. There are many armors worn by troops of the various nations, and i still do not know the durability of that armor so i can work out a good level of defensive strength for it (and the regular troop armor under it as well). It is of note that the shields for the ships are going to be definitely better than what the infantry has, and the planetary shield around Halcyon-VI itself is perhaps the strongest force field the Xenor have (which is most definitely saying something) above all others. Still also trying to think over Schäferkin and Xenor relations as well, albeit with irl things and such being busy on my end i am not sure if i can make a post by the end of Tuesday. *sighs* Though if you wanted, on another note, perhaps the Xenor could have traded the Schäferkin some force-field technology, perhaps a modified version of Hellhounds for them to use as well if the Schäferkin and Xenor had some kind of solid military alliance/trade agreement or the like?
