A proper pickpocket does it while walking by or picks a target that stands still for a couple of seconds, [i]without[/i] stunning his target. So 10 seconds is 10 seconds more than you need. Pickpocketing is all about speed and precision.

If you wish to simply take your time and scour through someone's backpack, then you aren't really pickpocketing and you might as well just steal the entire backpack.

Then finally, in the KonoSuba universe, just use the damn 'Steal' skill.
