It was like using matches on a brick wall. "Teddy doesn't have a fever. He's a she, and she's just in heat." Of course she couldn't let the joke pass without adding a pun of her own. "How's it going, Redsky, Thael?" To the latter she offered a fistbump. He was one of her oldest friends in Pariah, someone she'd met not too long after joining. Of course leave it to Graves to put a damper on things. She didn't mind him, but he was not a team player. "He can speak properly if he wants to, Fishface. Which is a marked difference to you, because I'm pretty sure that dickishness is an intrinsic part of your personality." She gave him a sacharrine smile. To be honest, it wouldn't be half the fun if the tall tank was nice, but he could take it too far in the other direction. The lady Graves had brought along -- or been unable to lose -- seemed nice enough. "Pleasure's mine, Mirage. I'm Elian, dedicated healer. I see you've met the resident assface. He's lucky it's a /nice/ ass, or I wouldn't put up with him." She offered the ranger a hand to shake. "And watch out for Goggles over there -- but you look like you can put him in his place if you need to." She'd picked up a couple more players, including one redheaded collector she knew more by reputation than anything else. With Vulcan trudging into view -- she hoped he was better rested than he appeared -- that was everyone who'd replied. "I send Crow a message, but he never did reply. If he shows after we're gone he's welcome to catch up. No reply from that lazy smith, either, but he's always late, so I'm not worrying about it." She turned the gear to lower the flag for their pole. "So this is everyone unless we pick up stragglers, and we can go now if you're all ready. For those of you who don't know me, I'm Elian, and I am going to do whatever I can to keep you sorry @#$!wads from ending up six feet under -- don't object, because I know how things get in a fight." A smile took the worst of the edge off her words. "Cause the party undue trouble and not only won't I heal you, afterwards I'll put your @#$%ing ass so far underground you'll be a week digging yourself back up." Elian eyed Rael, but didn't address her specifically. She gave the warning every time she had someone new in a group she lead. "My policy is simple: I really don't want a lot of drama. I'm here to have fun. Cheers~" With that, Elian turned to head towards the violin music. "Oi Skullgirl, time to roll!" she hollered. It was time to hit the dungeon.[/indent]
