Evidently, Ryobi’s questions were a bit too much for Kitt, but for now, she seemed to be functioning relatively normally for a bot in chaos. “Step back a bit please,” Ryobi requested, placing a boot on the grate. He pushed it forward once Kitt was clear, sending it clattering on the floor. Once he pulled himself out of the vent, Ryobi looked down at the robot and, without so much as a warning, wrapped her in a giant hug. “This place goes to shit, and you're still sunshine and rainbows, Kitt,” Ryobi muttered, holding her in a bear hug. “Never change.” He let go of the bot and stepped back from her. “Let’s hold off on calling in the cavalry just yet. I'm still piecing together what happened. I know someone had to have helped the prisoners escape. Why? Who knows. Maybe they were threatened. Maybe promised a ton of money or a job away from this floating pinwheel in space. Or maybe someone just snapped.” Ryobi gave a shrug. He was operating on assumptions at this point, and that was rarely good when working with robots. “What about you? Have you noticed anything out of the ordinary about the Captain, or maybe Benton? They've always seemed alright to me, but everything's different now.” Ryobi glanced around the hallway fervently as he talked. Shelter would be appreciated, but danger could be around every corner. He kept his eyes peeled for anything that looked at all useful while he attempted to speak in a more calming voice than before. He still had little intention of meeting the captain yet, but Kitt had information. Right now, Ryobi would give his arm for some concrete info. And maybe a pistol.
