Side-arms I would count as any pistol or micro-smg. As for grenades, Everyone gets standard frag grenades while classes like infantry and medic get smoke grenades and Specialists and Scouts get flash-bangs. I suppose Rangers could have throwing knives as well. Engineers would get emp grenades.
