[@Moonlit Sonata] I'm willing to bite with the other open Master slots still available, some of his Magecraft things are iffy but... We'll get there when we get there, right? [s](Problems of not being a specialized Magus)[/s]
Name/Title: Daniel Prescott Gender: Male Age: 29 Personality: As a young soul in this world, Daniel is an excitable and energetic person who loves entertainment and fun with a fervor that leaves people exhausted with how much it takes to keep up with him normally. Having a very aggressive competitive streak, he hides it most of it behind his outgoing demeanor whenever he doesn't haven't to be professional around his coworkers. Having no problem poking holes in the predefined status quo, he is a person who makes his own path with his life and plans to make the fullest of it while he possibly can. Being fairly confident and brave individual who has a curiosity for trying things both new and familiar with other people so long as they enjoy themselves as well. It contributes heavily to his social skills as a floater between groups of people that he gets close to, easily relating with his students and coworkers as well with his colorful life filled with experience. Despite his vibrant colors that he displays, part of his experience is having a clear view on the world that while beautifully rich is stained with the reality of the human nature and all of its injustices in the world. He, however, is able to look at the other side of the coin with a more appreciative nature that he wouldn't haven't otherwise developed without seeing the opposite sides of each other. Besides, no one like to hang around a wet rag which he has had his own fair share of those who drag everything through the mud as talking partners. Biography: Daniel was born with both an older brother and a younger sister, into a family who was magus and thus shared the ability with Daniel and his siblings. While he received training to utilize his inherent gifts, he yet developed a more 'regular' life one could say instead of his attention being fully devoted to forming his magical skills. Partially due to his inferior aptitude to using magecraft compared to his siblings who seemed more skilled than him. His focus on doing other things than practicing magecraft had eventually caught up to him when he was eclipsed in skill by his siblings and other peers who could perform magecraft at his age then. With Daniel usually having to use formalcraft to compete equally against them, he developed a curiously keen ability to perform many of them to use to improve his own magecraft. Sometimes this caused himself to doubt if he should even try to catch up to his own peers considering how far behind he was, but solidified his resolve and continued to study what he could to polish his gifts. While applying for the Clock Tower initially before being rejected, Daniel didn't mind the dismissal from the school as he instead took the opportunity to attend college with normal people. Earning his bachelor's in History after studying for it and finally graduating, he had tackled another opportunity that was given to him and looked forward to checking off his next goal on his list. Once again, trying to enroll himself into the Clock Tower and surprising everyone this time when he finally did pass despite his lack of aptitude for magecraft. Reveling in the opportunity to join his siblings in their own education, despite them being two years ahead of him. During his time in the Clock Tower, he continued to develop his abilities in one of the best places that they could do such a thing. Eventually, though, he realized that his potential could not be improved any further even with the backing of an organization to hone his talents due to his extremely low affinity to using magecraft. Leaving the Clock Tower, he decided to take a break of the unnatural and settle down so that he could grab a job to recollect himself. Spending a short time as a teacher who taught in High School until finding a scholarship that allowed him to study abroad in Europe. Taking the opportunity to do so, he was one of the few applicants to be considered and eventually won it! Taking the time to travel, he eventually earned his Masters in History along with a bachelor's in European Studies. Taking a few moments to rest his ambitions, he settled in Europe and set himself up again with a job. Causing a cycle with the next few years of his life to repeat with him working and traveling to places around the world with his own money that he made. Exploring cultures in depth as he would sometimes spend weeks to months in some areas while even living in places like Columbia for a year before moving around once more. During his travels, he continued to hone the magecraft that he possessed and sought to learn from few others who were willing to teach him. Giving him a great experience of knowledge from different cultures that imparted a few things for him to remember when he visited them. In passing through the countries, rumors of something happening in Japan seemed to be arising in the magical community in Europe. Causing Daniel to be curious, as he asked his family who knew nothing of it back at home in America which only incited more or a reason to go see it for himself as a detour for another one of his traveling trips. Quitting his job as a freelance writer, he left where he was staying for a short while in Sweden and made his way to Japan... Family History: His family is a family with a reputation for being reliable and talented when it comes down to it in their city but are only a small dot compared to the other families that you could compare them to. They are situated in America and have been a family of magus for several generations that had developed their abilities for magecraft. Being a family of passable lineage with a magic crest that was past onto the Eldest Son who uses it, which makes it quite confusing for Daniel's unimpressive attitude towards magecraft. Making him a nervous outlier to the family but they still tried to make him the best that he'll be with his limitations. The family itself has no specialization that labels the family, performing general jobs with their skills that allow them to tackle a variety of problems but nothing impressive for a magus individually or family in whole. His older brother, George, is skilled with fire elemental magecraft while his sister, Ashley, is talented with familiars. Father is a skillful healer but Mother is on a whole different level as she helped Father and everyone else in their magecraft. Grandma is also a skillful healer who helped mother train Father with his own magecraft but is becoming older with her own art declining. Origin: Ritual Elemental Affinity: Earth Number of Magic Circuits: D Quality of Magic Circuits: C Od: D Magecraft: As a magus, Daniel has had formal education both from the teachings of his parents and spending time studying in the Clock Tower. Learning the general basics of Magecraft, he has the bases and foundations more solidly practiced due to his inabilities of performing more strenuous forms without any preparation to undertake them. He in exchange for the potency of a single art, he has developed a wide assortment of skills that cover his weakness as a magus that makes him situational in dealing with certain problems. For such a weak magus, the one vital skill that is required of them to conditionally function like a magus of higher status is Formalcraft. Having the use magic circles to direct magical energy and store it or having to sacrifice something in order to gain magical energy to cast a spell, it is a skill that Daniel has developed enough to be separated from the basics of magecraft with his knowledge and experience of it. Having studied more advanced ways to pull mana from his surrounds rather than himself, has allowed him to be very frugal with his own internal resources. While he has a good deal of knowledge in Formalcraft, his specialization heavily surrounds mostly magical circles in directing and collecting magical energy along rare occasion performing sacrifices due to how efficient the former is and how quickly the latter one is in tight situations. Making his work very precise with the time and details that he places into making his preparations for other magecraft. Moving onto techniques above the basics, as a Western magus, he has always assumed that Elemental Magecraft was always another basic skill that one should learn. Having the affinity for earth element magecraft, he can do things such as throwing it or buildings simple things with it. His skill with it is simplistic when used alone but is highly used to enhance his other skills when used to carve the earth or other things. It also tunes him more closely into the principle of earth element being used to cultivating energy and embedding it into something. Allowing him to use his magic circles much more effectively with this affinity to them, allowing him to collect magical energy easier. Other elements are capable of being used through Formalcraft converting them between each other with the appropriate preparations to do such a thing. Outside of Formalcraft, his most trained skill is creating Bounded Fields as they are intrinsically suited for a magus like Daniel. The skill that he has making these are directly related to the fine processes of Daniel's Formalcraft which he carefully builds with an obsession. With his advance creations being intended on defending an area that he has built it on, he has no offensive blueprint of one and current has no need for one but could easily make one if so desired. Sustaining basic Bounded Fields are something Daniel could do, but more advanced fields will require Daniel to use Formalcraft to sustain it if intended on using it for long periods of time. Equipment: Hefty luggage bag that contains a week's worth of clothing in there Travel Bag of the usual hygiene products Another luggage bag dedicated for reagents and materials needed for Formalcraft rituals A few textbooks on magecraft for research and reference Few notebooks for recording anything pertinent, essentially dairies Wallet with 100$ in 20s, ID card, Credit/Debit card, frozen yogurt coupon, picture of his cat on side Laptop w/ charger Smart Phone w/ charger Camera w/ charger His familiar, Felix, who is a siamese cat that is his pet for the most part Felix's bed whenever he isn't sleeping elsewhere Skills: Daniel is a functioning adult in the living world with skills to survive them without the help of maids or other people to do it for him. He is fully independent of any aid unless something prevents him from doing such a thing normally, like an injury for example.

Driving: He is a passable driver who avoids crashing into others who compensate his safe driving with accidents of their own. One bad habit back in Ameria is through the use of his speakers in the back of his car blasting their music.
Cooking: Mom's favorite household servant and inheritor to not the magic crest of the family but cooking recipes and skills that is taken for granted by the family. It is renown among friends and extended family who love his mother's cooking along with whatever sides he helps make.
Taxes: Basic knowledge of an adult living in society, being able to use magic is not an excuse for having the government hunt you down.
College Education (Masters): Like people of his age, he is one of the many who have degrees in their respective fields of study along with a ton of debt accumulating behind them. He is smart simply because he has the credentials and ability to prove it when he took the job of being a teacher multiple times.

Coming from his personal experiences and curiosities, these are skills independent from simply surviving in the world of the mundane. With him being coloured in the many different flavours of the world that it offers out to those who are willing to seek it out.

Athletics: One of the good things in the world that help you out with everything, Daniel is a bit of a jock who has poked his fingers into many different sports like football, soccer, basketball, tennis and swim. He prefers activities such as hiking, rock climbing, and skiing which he likes to do as a hobby whenever he has the chance to go out.
Talking to people: Traveling the world, Daniel has gained a fair collection of wisdom that he is able to depart on his students, friends, family and strangers. Being a cheerful guy above all, his company is usually what is sought after and his advice is just a happy surprise!
Culturally Exposed: Visiting many countries, he has a steady grasp in living within other cultures that are entirely different from each other. With one example being the very social lifestyle of Colombia where simply passing someone in greeting someone is rude as it is expected that at least several minutes of small talk is expected for even acquaintances that you know little about. Of course, that is only the more formal side of their culture when comparing it to the parties he has attended in Ibiza or Carnival in Rio that put everyone else to shame.
Languages: Fluently speaks English as his first language, along with his fascination for other cultures, he speaks Spanish that could be passed off as a native. Another language he is well versed in is French with a passable handling that allows casual conversation but lacks a more sophisticated vocabulary. His Japanese is nowhere near fluent for him but is able to use simple words and phrases such as common food, objects, places, and pleasantries.
