The way I imagine it is as follows. - Every fight consists of multiple rounds and is a best of five. - Every round, both contestants write part of the battle and the other players vote which becomes canon. Since you're building up to a win, each post should probably involve your character gaining some sort of upper hand, like inflicting a minor wound on your opponent. - If two of your posts have already been made canon, the next one wins you the match. This means you can end that post with killing or incapacitating your opponent. Since characters will get killed while under someone's else's control, you might want to discourage people from killing their opponent in a way that would deny them any last words (i.e. decapitation). That way, the character's own player can still determine their final actions before they succumb to their injuries.
