[@Joshua Tamashii] - Night Laurinda, after having her sleeve tugged, stopped to look what the little girl wanted, and then gently sighed as she stopped to let Amelia go over to the group of Pumpkaboos. When Amelia approached the Pumpkaboos, which were drifting in a specified direction, there was a sudden moment of confusion among the creatures. Some turned with interest towards Amelia, others were determined to drift onwards with whatever quest they had. Yet, they were also exceedingly determined to stay connected as a group. As such, when some stopped and other drifted on, the group stretched as many held onto one another to not part and they formed a long line from one which had stopped by Amelia and one that kept going, until finally the one who had kept going gave up and the whole group came springing back, flowing back towards Amelia, and the different sized pumpkins bounced onto one another and positively crashed into a pile at Amelia’s feet. Despite this, none seemed particularly troubled as the pile of pumpkins on different angles all turned to stare up curiously at Amelia. ‘Pum?’ ‘Boo?’ ‘Ka?’ ‘Ka?’ ‘Pumkaboo?’ Numerous curious calls came up at Amelia, but mostly it seemed they were like they were doing fairly fine. __________________________ [@Delta44] After a discussion at the restaurant, where she likely had a long and nice conversation with Joshua and Ewan, Ren took her leave and Joshua waved enthusiastically telling her ‘until we meet again’ and Ewan wished her luck. Then, she moved on, seeking the gym… There it stood. A big, fairly boring building. A four-story building, square in form with numerous banners hanging out, and an imposing sign hanging out at the front of the building. “POKÉMON GYM”… And at the front of the building sat a single sign with a little bit of information about the Gym. Pureplain Pokémon Gym - Major League Gym Leader: Dorian “The Master of Normal” But, she wasn’t the only one who was visiting the building. There were a couple of older human beings, presumably trainers were hanging out, not really doing anything. In fact, they were looking pretty drained. Pale, hanging over benches or leaning against walls, muttering incoherent sentences… ’What… happened…’ ’That is so… unfair…’ ’Oooooough… I thought I was Major League level… Just how big is the gap…?’ Well. Despite that, it appeared that the door, two double doors, was perfectly open. If she gathered the courage to enter… The inside of the building was bigger than one could have thought. But, it felt a bit more like entering into an art-gallery than anything else. The place was clean, with a nice carpet leading inwards, there were fine paintings lining the walls and there were small tables with vases of varying sizes, colors and widths all over. It all looked exceedingly expensive. Along the same side-lines were numerous older men sitting politely, watching what was happening in the middle of the room. Because, despite the surroundings, there was a Pokémon battle going on. 'Go! Hitmonlee! Double Kick!' A young ace-trainer commanded, pointing forward with great passion, and his Pokémon obligued, springing forward its brown body on powerful legs towards its opponent. Pokédex Entry #106 – Hitmonlee, the Kicking Pokémon. It’s legs can stretch and contract for considerable range and its balance means it can kick from any position. After a battle, it rubs its legs to relax the muscles and release the tension. It runs smoothly with long, loping strides. The opponent... was a giant creature with enormous gut and blank stare, standing absently like a huge wall in front of the quick kicking Pokémon. Pokédex Entry #143 – Snorlax, the Sleeping Pokémon. A very lazy Pokémon that typically only eats or sleeps. It is not satisfied unless it has eaten 900 pounds of food in a day, and after having consumed that it becomes lethargic and sleeps. Its stomach acids can dissolve any poison, so it doesn’t have to worry about what it eats. The Hitmonlee flew forth to kick, when suddenly, with a speed that absolutely impossible with that size, the Snorlax just turned and smacked with a palm into the Hitmonlee's leg, and the suddenly wide-eyed Hitmonlee was sent scurrying off towards the side where it had to break its speed to not crash right into some price-less looking vases. 'Th-the heck!? Hitmonlee, use Low Kick!' The somewhat perplexed trainer commanded, and Hitmonlee quickly turned spinning swiftly and dodging low, way lower than the huge Snorlax's hands would be able to reach, and aimed what would be a super-effective move directly at the huge Pokémon's legs, and...! The Snorlax casually lifted its leg and then stepped down with perfect timing to step its entire weight onto Hitmonlee's foot. 'LEEEEEEeeeeeeeEEEeeeEEEEEEE....!!??' The Hitmonlee cried out in sudden pain before the Snorlax intentionally let him go, the kicking Pokémon bouncing away from the Snorlax collapsing onto the floor. The trainer was left staring at the Snorlax, dumbfounded. 'How? Since the battle began, you haven't given a single command, yet each of your Pokémon took out mine as if it was sheer instinct.' The ace-trainer asked, his voice defeated. 'On top of that... I am pretty sure that Snorlax did it while completely asleep.' There was actually sounds coming from the Snorlax's mouth that sounded strangely alike to quiet snooring, its eyes sure were closed and it was wobbling somewhat, but it had sure completely defeated that Hitmonlee. 'How?' The trainer asked again. A sound came from behind the Snorlax, and the Snorlax moved aside a bit to show the shape of a man, previously blocked from sight by the Snorlax's sheer width, but here he had started standing up. He had been seated behind a rotating panel, on which he had been shaping a vase from dirt. Because apparently, he had felt he had time to do such a thing while in battle. 'The question is not ”how did I do it”, the question is ”how will you overcome it”. Either case, do not gain that knowledge from me. I am a challenge to be overcome. Learn from today, and return when you feel ready to attempt taking me on again.' So said an older voice, filled with horrifyingly calm confidence, from a man with experience and class, a man whom had been collectively been agreed by the world of Isson to carry the name of ”Master”. This was Dorian, Normal-type Gym Leader of Pureplain City.

The trainer frowned, and then directed a finger forward in anger at the Snorlax. 'HIGH JUMP KICK!' He commanded, and the Hitmonlee's eyes suddenly burned with passion as it took its good leg and shot itself from the ground like a spring from it, and in mid air it was spinning around as to use the same good leg to deliver an immensely poweful kick at Snorlax. … The older trainer took a miniature sigh. 'Giga Impact.' With the command leaving Dorian's mouth, there was but the tiniest bit of movement. The much slower Snorlax somehow just slightly turned, the long kick of the Hitmonlee seeming like it would make a direct hit to the shoulder of the big Pokémon. Then, a blindingly fast burst of speed. The whole weight of the Snorlax had flown in as if projected into the body of the much lighter Hitmonlee, which absorbed the full force. The strike was so powerful that the room was briefly illuminated by a bright flash, from a physical blow. The aftermath of the blow saw Hitmonlee flying like shot out of a cannon straight into the wall right above the entrance where Ren just had come in from, so she might want to move because a fainted Hitmonlee would soon come falling down. 'A-aaaah...' And the trainer was totally dumbfounded, stumbling a few steps back, before spinning around, grabbing his Hitmonlee and then fleeing out the door. The older men that served as the audience provided a brief applause for their Gym Leader as Dorian returned Snorlax to his Pokéball. Notably, Snorlax was looking around a bit confused, having woken up when Dorian gave the command, automatically followed through with it by instinct, but now was confused as to where he was. The Snorlax vanished from view. 'So.' Dorian said, apparently not minding the sudden bulge outwards that had been caused to his wall above the entrance as he sat down to continue shaping the unfinished vase in front of him. 'What brings you to my humble gym, youngling?' Dorian asked, looking at his vase. … Despite never having acknowledged her existence with his eyes, it was pretty clear he was speaking to Ren. __________________________ [@Rune_Alchemist] Eugene had been told to wait, so he stood watching. Yvonne blinked a little in surprise when she saw Claire kneel down to the dog-fairy-Pokémon hugging Yvonne's leg while Ralia was let out of her arms, and then Claire reached out to pet the Pokémon. Now, two things happened at once that might save Claire some trouble. Ralia got one considerable forewarning from the sheer, terrifying, all-encompassing hatred that she all of a sudden blew across her emotional sensors. Secondly, there was the fact Yvonne suddenly shrieked at her. ‘DON'T!’ Yvonne cried out, and also quickly leaned foward with one hand lashing down to hit either Jeffrey's head or Claire's hand. Because the fact was that Jeffrey suddenly spun about in her direction, opened his mouth up wide with glaring loathing in his eyes as he bit at her hand. By some manner of reflexes or interference Claire was spared having her hand bitten, Yvonne grabbing Jeffrey's forehead roughly and pulling him violently back while throwing her other arm around his stomach to keep him in place. Her eyes were kind of wide as she looked to Claire. ‘H-he's been trained to protect me! That is, supposedly, because he just seems to hate and attack everyone but me! I have NO idea what mom did to him to make him like this...!’ Yvonne seemed to have temporarily forgotten to act high and mighty as she tried to deal with the problem in her arms, trying to recollect Jeffrey's Pokéball while also holding him in place. ‘SNUBBULL!’ The Pokémon which the Pokédex had claimed to be friendly and affectionate barked at Claire, clearly showing his opinion about her. It could also be noted that Eugene and three Skarmories suddenly stood a fair bit closer, Eugene looking a bit startled as he was now ready to attempt potentially intervening. __________________________ [@Eklispe][@Pikmin Eye] ‘Ooooh? A Water and a Grass type...’ Larry commented with a confident smirk as he then looked down on his Geodude, proudly facing its opponents. ‘... Wait.’ And all of a sudden he realized what an exrutiatingly terrible situation he was in. ‘Poliwag! Jump in front of the Water-Gun and try to use Hypnosis on the Bulbasaur!’ Carol quickly commanded, and Poliwag was quick to jump forward, intent on following its trainers orders, turning to Bulbasaur with considerable speed and then somehow using Hypnosis, likely by somehow shaking its swirly stomach so it looked like it was spinning... Didn't do <> <> to Bulbasaur. He proceeded to smack the Poliwag with a Vine Whip for the trouble, on Martin's command. The Poliwag cried out in distress and flew out of the way. ‘T-tackle the Wooper!’ Larry commanded, and the Geodude went flying at Wooper. Unfortunately, it couldn't reach in time before a sudden dose of water splashed across its face and the surprised Geodude could but stare at Wooper before it dropped onto the ground, doused and faited. And, um, the Poliwag had been hit from a Super-Effective move from a Pokémon of somewhat higher level, sooooooooo... Martin and Dawkin were victorious! Martin and Dawkin each gained 455 P for winning! Though, way too easy a battle to gain levels for. ‘... Uh. Hold on, hold on. What happened?’ Larry asked, bringing a hand to his forehead a little, looking at what just happened. ‘Time-out, time-out! Too fast! Too fast! Eh, uh. Did we win?’ A slightly confused Carol had to ask, waving her arms around trying to reassume control. Yeah, um. Martin and Dawkin are free to continue their journey if they wish. Haha.

Route 2

Route 2 is the wetter alternative to the fairly dry and straight-forward Route 1. Dragon Lake naturally flows south, causing many rivers through Route 2 which lead on into Infested Woods, giving the woods all the water it needs to grow. The road forward is a more primitive gravel road, which in order to get to the mountain housing the Wet Caverns on the other side requires one to cross a number of bridges, and it’s near tradition that there’s at least one trainer waiting in ambush for any other trainer who desires to cross. But, Route 2 sees traffic from nature-goers, fishermen and so as well as trainers, giving possibilities to slip by if desired. One step to the left and one has ended up in the wetlands of Route 2, drenched by Dragon Lake’s insistence on breaking into the ground. Large flowers and many bushes arise from these lands, the nature is lush and green. Although one might wish to pack an extra pair of boots if one intends to traverse the reaches, there are undoubtedly many wild Pokémon awaiting in the grass around. Quite a few other trainers seem to have thought this, as there are quite a few in various stages of Pokémon searching or battling. With the combination of water and grass, one can assume the kind of Pokémon one might encounter. In the distance, by the lake itself, stands a number of fishermen’s huts, for those interested. To the right, instead, stands the imposing Infested Woods, which scare people by its name and promises of how terrifying it might be to wander deep, or maybe that’s just scary-tales from those who are scared to death by bugs. Regardless, it stands there, drinking deep from the waters provided by the rivers. One merely needs to break off from the path and then one will sooner or later be in the woods. It is an alternative way to the Wet Caverns that avoids the trainer-bridges, but the choice of where to go obviously falls on the trainers themselves. For the most obvious Pokémon, there are Pidgeys flying about, every here and there one carries a captured Weedle from the tall grass, which tries to sting back…

1.
