The old royalty pissed off the military who ended up aligning themselves with the rebels. A wave of new Democratic patriotism explains the mass if volunteers eager to prove themselves and defend the ideals of the notFounding Fathers. The need for money for post war reconstruction has given the wealthy an easy way into the poltical system. Lord if hunters and spear militia who served in the wat have become professionals through experience and mages also aligned themselves with rebels after the incompetent monarch fucked everything up.

I would like to ask if I could bend the military reputation, population and urbanization. I'm envisioning a race of half human half long dead race who have a natural disposition towards engineering with a religion that is sun, stars and moon based.
