Although somewhat introverted, he is still easy to talk to and he will never rebuke someone’s desire for conversation. He is easy to make laugh and once he does it is void of any restriction. He rarely gets angry and when he does it is not a destructive rage but a subdued desire to right a wrong or find a solution that would benefit everyone. Backstory - Although born into a minor family of nobles, Beselot has spent most of his early life in the ascetic lifestyle of a monastery. Originally, he was just given to education, monasteries being a cheaper option than great universities, but his aptitude for holy magic was quickly discovered and it has determined his future ever since. As he was growing up in the monastery of Sol, Beselot has learned the magic of the Father of Creation. He refused to rest on the laurels of his natural talent and applied himself diligently to study and training. His goal was to become a paladin of the Sun God, to help and protect the weak. That is why beside his study of magic he trained his body for battle. After spending nearly 10 years of his life in the monastery, Beselot passed the test for becoming a paladin. He then left the monastery and began wandering the Empire, helping people in need. He fought bandits, monsters, crime lords and many others, but the biggest impression was left to him by what he experienced in a small town called Luge. There, a plague wrought havoc on the populace and in a month two thirds of the townsfolk were dead. The only reason why the spread of the plague to other regions of the empire was prevented was due to the swift reaction by the local lord who quarantined the area. Unfortunately this didn’t help the inhabitants of Luge at all and they were left to their suffering. Beselot was initially disgusted by the lord’s actions and tried to help the people, but he soon found that his healing magic was not sufficient for the task and without an actual enemy for him to confront his combat skills were useless. He was helpless as he watched the townsfolk wither before his eyes. By the time the plague has run its course only Beselot and a dozen other people remained (Beselot thanks Sol’s divine protection for his survival). This experience was humbling and it made Beselot realize that there are misfortunes in the world that had no easy solution. Motive – It is only natural that a paladin of Sol would answer the Emperor’s call to fight the Scorn. Magic Abilities: Blessings of Sol – Beselot is capable of using magic which heals cuts, bruises and broken bonus - the greater the injury, the longer time it takes. This ability is always active for Beselot. He is also able to create shields for protection. His only offensive magic is a ray of blazing fire. Beselot's sickle is also coated in the flames of the Father of Creation which makes it more harmful to the unnatural creatures, such as the undead and demons. Combat Abilities: Dervish’s Dance – This martial art is developed to fight against numerous opponents at once with emphasis on speed and precision.
And now that I wrote all of this, I realized he is more of a monk. Crap. Too lazy to change it, and I like paladins more o3o
