The world of Hong Li is one where humans have colonized most all of the Solar System, terraforming planets and moons to suit them. FTL travel has finally been perfected, and humans are entering onto a glactic political scale, along with various other alien species, who are also just perfecting FTL travel.

[b]Special Abilities/Powers:[/b] Hong has inherited the mutations of her ancestor Solomon, giving her the ability to see in the dark, see infrared energy (both hinted at by her blue eyes), superhuman strength and endurance, and reflexes as well as additional upgrades given to her by the New Formosan government, such as mental sheilding and an endorphin booster to protect her from torture and interegation. 

Hong is trained in hand to hand combat, and is skilled with using a gun from her time with the Military.

[b]Equipment: [/b] Hong uses a 2nd Generation plasma caster, the weapon that drove conventional firearms into obsoletion. She carries a Formosan Officer's Vibroblade, but its more for ceremonial use than actual combat. 

Hong's combat uniform is a long, heat resistant coat with anti-plasma sheilding and heat dispursing ceramics built into it. She also has a mask used to defend against nerve gas and other chemical/biological attacks.

[b]History:[/b] Hong Li was born in New Formosa, a large nation, former Chinese colony, and a constituant state of the Venusian Federation. New Formosa, which is roughly the size of Earth's Russia, dominates the politics and legislation of Venus. A military junta, Hong Li was able to work her way to the status of an officer by way of not only her achievements in war, but by her status as a scion of the Venusian hero, Solomon Li, who saved the Solar System by foiling a plot by a rutheless dictator on the Penal Colony of Ceres, from taking hold of all planets and ruling all of humanity. That was 300 years ago, and since then, mankind has perfected FTL travel, and joined the galactic political scene. Hong is the current representative of Venus among the galactic stage, and a well known war hero who participated in the latest conflict. 

[b]Personality:[/b] Hong Li is a very reserved individual. Cold and Calculating, she bears little resemblance to her famous ancestor. She is selective of her words, and holds rather extreme views, being a supporter of the authoritarian New Formosan government's laws. She holds rather liberal views on most subjects, and has been a pionier in the legalization of cybernetics. She also inherited Soloman's love of Cherry Colas.
