Is Andromeda any good? I've heard enough people complain about the facial animations but, ignoring that, is it enjoyable in terms of story and gameplay?

Is Andromeda any good? I've heard enough people complain about the facial animations but, ignoring that, is it enjoyable in terms of story and gameplay?


So far I'm really drawn into the game. There's a bit of uncanny valley going on with some of the character models, but I think the complaints are a bit overblown.

I haven't gotten too far into the story, but so far it definitely makes me want to find out more. Combat is a lot tougher out of the gate than the original trilogy, I find, but it feels great and punchy and so far it is really fun to drive the Nomad.

Eh, same opinion as Dervs here pretty much. I think the whole thing with the animations might have been overblown but there are definitively a few uncanny valley moments like he said but nothing that detracts too much from the game in my opinion.

Animations and modeling are not on par for a AAA game. Tbere are some disjointed moments of dialogue. Oh and so.e fps drop. Despite this. I reallly like the game

0/10 worse than the E.T. game

(It does actually look p. good tho I'm just salty over the fact that apparently it's got more NVIDIA support over AMD though I'll probably buy it at some point anyway)
