Marguerite Calder

Shinto Streets
Marguerite had stumbled back a few steps when the blows had been struck, as if the air had pushed her back. She had expected to see the stuff of legends during this War, but this was a whole new level. The giant insectoid... thing was also a surprise. Could it possibly be a Servant? She doubted it, but if it was, she would be able to see its parameters, right? From what she could tell, neither the thing nor Saber had been significantly stuck by the other's blows, which was both a relief and an annoyance. Were the battle to continue at this rate, it would become one of attrition, and without more knowledge of the enemy, she did could not gauge what the result would be. So their options were escalate or retreat. The former option would hopefully end the fight in their favor, but it would likely cost her more Mana and possibly draw the attention of enemy Servants. Not an appealing combination. As for the latter... the thing had already proven itself to be fast. Most likely it would be able to chase them down should they turn and flee. So perhaps a combination of the two. "Saber, do you think you can knock it down hard enough that we can make a run for it?" All things considered, she would rather live to fight another day rather than possibly exhausting themselves or showing their hand for one early victory. This way they could regroup and perhaps form a strategy for next time. [@Breo] [@Moonlit Sonata]
