([@Immortius] [@IncredibleBee] [@Tancuras] [@Blight Bug] [@Ryougu] [@Cu Chulainn] [@Melandrach]) Everything here will be updated as we go along. Rules Keep IC drama in the IC, and keep the OOC drama to PMs. Also don't act hostile to someone just because you two had bad experiences. This goes with the rule above. No posts of characters doing the "sideways dance", if you catch my drift. Make it implied and occur offscreen if it's a must. And actually look at the character's ages, I don't want an adult doing it with a thirteen-year-old even offscreen. Please give your character personality flaws. I don't want any Mary Sues in this RP. Also don't make them extremely powerful either. For mages, either start with someone who just started their magical training or only know up to intermediate spells. Don't make spells that can completely nuke enemies right off the bat, which is what I'm saying. I'm looking for decent grammar that can be comprehended and at least a paragraph per post. That's three sentences at the very least. Only one primary class and up to two secondary classes for each character. No godmodding, autohitting, puppeting, or bunnying. Don't force me to make new rules. Follow standard Roleplayer Guild rules. And most importantly, have fun. Le Map and Regions (Pardon this MSPaint made map. Will be updated.) Ah, the Terra continent. Slightly larger than real-life Australia and currently in an era and yet people can't shoot stuff other than arrows yet, this continent is home to four nations. Mystica Mystica boasts the greatest magical and academic education. A lot of powerful mages and influential scholars come from this country, as well as access to the more mineral rich side of the Adamentum Mountain Range. The nation is currently being lead by King Francis Aurum, of the Aurum royal line. Inlustris Inlustris is the center of trade for the continent, owing to its many rivers. There is steady irrigation, allowing for greater agriculture than any other continent. Luminus The majority of the population of Luminus is difficult to reach without traveling by boat or taking a path east of the Inlustris capital, thanks to its mountain range. As a result, the capital of Luminus has been protected for many centuries. Solisa Solisa is well-known for its many mines, most particularly in the western part of the country. It was once a fairly stable nation, ruled by a fair king from the Argentum royal line known as King Felicis Argentum. However, the king was violently overthrown by the sorcerer Malum and his many followers and minions. NPCs (all controlled by me) More will be added as more NPCs are met King Francis Aurum The human king of Mystica. He is known as one of the mages in the royal family. According to the nobles and his family, he spends most of his time studying and dealing in foreign affairs. Due to a recent attack on Felictate Village by Malum, he is preparing as he begins to declare war on Solisa. Malum Nes The newest leader of Solisa, Malum is an elven sorcerer who seems to have malicious intentions, though his motives are currently unknown. Malum is known to use magic that is internationally illegal on the Terra continent, except for in Solisa where it was recently legalized. Types of Magic There can't be a fantasy setting without MAAAAAGIIIC. There are three forms of magic, white, black, and forbidden. White Magic White magic centers around healing and helping your teammates performance, such as using white magic to help allies hit harder or take more hits easily. White mages are capable of a few holy spells, but only one offensive white spell is powerful, Genesis, and it's a spell very few are high level enough to be able to use. White mages aren't always pure and good, they can be just as potentially malevolent as any other class. This magic is mostly associated with the element of light. Black Magic Black magic covers a lot more offensive spells than white magic. Not to be confused with forbidden magic, though both used to be the same category before forbidden magic got its own category. This has the most elements associated with it, which are fire, water, ice, air, lightning, darkness (though less so than forbidden magic), earth, nature, and metal. Typically there is specialization of one or two types of these elements, though jack-of-all-trades black mages may utilize weak spells with one intermediate spell of each element. Forbidden Magic Magic that has been internationally outlawed to either being to harmful to life, inhumane, or considered immoral. Types of magic that fall under this category include necromancy, spells meant to put targets in relentless agony, spells that turn living beings into a nonliving substance (i.e. stone), and spells that create disease. However, forbidden magic has been recently legalized in Solisa. Forbidden magic is heavily associated with the element of darkness, though there are a few spells classified as different elements as well.
