Yep, edit your CS into the accident post.

Like [@Archmage MC] said, you could start your post with being escorted to the boat, and then by the end of it you can be on the thing and interacting with someone, be it a player character or an NPC(my current ones are on the previous page and on the characters tab, Raddum's are in one of their IC posts and a post in the character tab).
