[*][u][b]Appearance:[/b][/u] Ban stands at a taller than average 6'2." His most noticeable features are his long strawberry red hair and stormy grey eyes. His build is tall and athletic, he maintains his fit body to keep up with the competition in Shiroyama High School. Ban's ears are pierced and he usually will wear expensive jewelry such as chains and watches.

[*][u][b]Personality:[/b][/u] Ban's usually described as a cunning and ambitious asshole. Most people are offput by how rude and confident he is and surprised by his intelligence. He was raised to be a rough "I can do by myself," sort of person. His independence makes it hard for him to make friends and have real relationships, so he uses his determination as an excuse for how lonely he is. Everything he does he tries his best at, having a perfectionist heart but a cynical mind. 

Ban's brutally honest, which offends people with weak skin, though he believes in the mantra "if you don't like what I'm saying, then don't listen." He isn't one to pull punches, and his temper is nothing to fuck with. Stupidity irks him, mostly because he's good at gauging talent and he hates seeing people not reach their full potential. He [b]loves[/b] competition, which is part of the reason why he started attending Shiroyama. 

Ban's very aggressive when it comes to competition and battles. It's the best place for him to vent his anger, and vent he does. In fact, his personality has caused him to have a reputation as the [b]"Savage of Shiroyama."[/b] He finds the nickname redundant but he lets it continue to make people more fearful of him than necessary.

 It takes a lot for him to like someone, so at this point he's content with being alone. Maybe it's because he has trust issues, he's never thought too hard about it. Ban's extreme when it comes to people that he doesn't like, but he's also extreme when he actually enjoys someone's presence to the point of friendship. If you somehow gain Ban's trust and befriend him, he's fiercely loyal, though his personality doesn't soften much. He firmly believes that it isn't worth his time to change himself to please others. Ban does what [b]he[/b] wants, and those who don't like it can insert their heads into places that don't see the Sun often.

[*][u][b]Backstory:[/b][/u] Ban was born in a rough house hold. His father was always working and his kids preferred him busy instead of focusing on them. Ban was raised to be emotionless, his father saw emotion as a sign of weakness. Weakness was beaten out of Ban and his siblings, but they adapted quickly. Their mother skipped out on their Dad and her kids when Ban was 3, so he doesn't remember her well, but his older brother Benji remembers her well. 

Ban's competitiveness was fostered by everyone's assumption that he would amount to nothing. His father let him know how worthless he would be daily, which did wonders his self-esteem.... Because of this, Ban tried his hardest in everything he did. He was surprised to find that he was actually quite smart when he tried to be. He had a very analytical mind, skilled in picking things apart and looking at things differently. Acceling at school was the only way to get his father's attention, who would never compliment him, but he would at least acknowledge the achievements. 

Ban soon took the stage over his two brother and two sisters when he applied and was accepted to Shiroyama High School. He created a reputation quickly for his abnormally aggressive and rude persona, rising ranks quickly. Once he established a name for himself as the Savage of Shiroyama, he became quite content and slowed his battling down. For some reason, a few [i]disturbing[/i] students took a keen interest in him. They tried following him around like some sort of posse, but he ended the admiration quickly when he challenged them all and beat them senseless. That was the last battle he took part in, he's kept a relatively low profile since then, though he gets quite a few fearful looks from some students, especially first years.

[b]Kiai (Fired Up):[/b] Ban's IE skill increases his physical abilities are supernaturally enhanced. Traits like his strength, speed, stamina, and endurance are all boosted. Ban's IE skill also gives him a high resistance to heat. While this skill is passive and automatic, it's tied to his emotions, so the more [b]fired up[/b] he gets, the more his abilities increase. Vice verse, the less passionate he is, the less powerful his abilities become.

-[u][i]Sukōchi (Flare):[/i][/u] Jigoku No Ha can internally heat up until they are white hot and can burn on contact. This makes Ban a dangerous close quarters combatant, forcing most opponents to dodge instead of block due to the intense heat.
-[u][i]Chōshinsei (Supernova):[/i][/u] This ability gives Ban the ability to create balls of fire from the palms of his hands that he can hurl with at opponents. He uses this when his opponent is keeping distance between them.
-[u][i]Furēmushīrudo (Flame Shield):[/i][/u] The final ability of Ban's Hell Blades creates a shield made of solid fire that can block a few attacks before dissipating, the longer the duration of the shield, the more mana it depletes. 

[*][u][b]Skills:[/b][/u] Ban's good at figuring things out on his own. He has an engineer's analytical mind, and he loves to take things apart and learn how they work. Ban enjoys and excels in sports and anything that gets his adrenaline pumping.
