[b]Biography:[/b]
From what he can understand, Hugo was the product of a one night stand between an Amsterdam lady of the night and a passing wizard. His mother carried him long enough to immigrate to the US and give birth before disappearing from the hospital. He bounced between foster homes for years, not because he was a bad child but simply because he was difficult to understand. The growing emergence of his magic left Hugo isolated from others, at least until he turned eleven and received his letter to attend the Durmstrang Institute. A teacher came to collect him and he has never returned home since.

In Durmstrang, Hugo had finally found somewhere he could belong, around other witches and wizards he could be himself. He became particularly friendly with Madam Koravich, the schools healer. Through her influence, Hugo took quite an interest in healing magic and upon his graduation, he was offered an internship at St Mungo’s Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries. Whilst there he would learn the true craft of healing as well as studying muggle medicine as well. He found a niche for psychiatry and soon set up a practice within the walls of St Mungo’s.

After several years of working within the magical community, Hugo decided to apply for a very recently vacant position with the Occult Regulation Office. He looked forward to understanding the minds of those that put their lives on the line against the monsters in the dark.
