Athos froze as Zara spoke to Kieran. Did she forget he was there to or did she mean it. Pain and anger filled his thoughts as his hands gripped the counter. He looked at Emory as he entered with a new guy. His jaw clenched and more pain waved off. He stared at Hugo with an unreadable expression.
