The Guardian One, based off his father’s designs. This armor not only provides an incredible amount of protection but also increases his agility. It does this with rapid bursts of propulsion. It runs off a chargeable battery, however it only has an hour of energy before it uses up all it's power. Without power his armor becomes sluggish and can’t access it’s full strength.

It’s only because of Asahi’s Quirk that he can still make use of the suit even after the battery has died, though only for protection. He also has enough working knowledge of his father’s suit to maintain and even upgrade it however without the funds he has no means of actually purchasing most of the upgrades he could use. Currently it has the base Guardian One Exoskeleton, three inch thick steel armor plating, and two massive five inch thick steel tower shields. The shields themselves weight close to 200 pounds each which is nothing for the Guardian One to use when powered.

While it's certainly capable of handling conventional threats as well as surviving such events like car crashes, falling from great heights, and even having a building fall upon it, there are certain flaws with the Guardian One that Asahi hasn't fixed yet. For starters it is not completely air tight; while it covers most of the skin the helmet's ventilation doesn't purify air, thus gas based attacks can still affect Asahi. The joints and limbs are also inherently weaker in armor than most of the other parts, and while it's still tougher than most, they are not as tough as the rest of the body. There is also one major weakness, which is a specific ventilation shaft on his back that the battery powering his armor is in. Because of the amount of energy produced by that battery, a specialized vent was made to exhaust excess heat and energy. Should that vent be blocked, it would cause the armor to rapidly meltdown. Careful attacks can also be used to strike the battery directly, shutting the whole armor down immediately. The only real armor Asahi has put on it is a thick metal grate, however he can't fully cover it or else he'll risk his armor melting down whenever he's using it.

In addition to the Guardian one, Asahi carries tools that would allow him to do maintenance on the guardian one as well as some field crafting. These tools Asahi can access from either outside or while in his suit. 

Quirk: Mechanical Intuition - Asahi has the innate instincts to construct and dismantle technology, allowing him to build or repurpose any machine he gets his hands on to create different devices or gadgets. If he has any particular device in mind, he'll be able to intuitively know what he'll need in the form of ominous voices telling him what to do. 

Backstory: Asahi’s father was quirkless. Though his childhood, his father was often ridiculed and mocked for his lack of powers. Despite his talent in other fields the fact that he lacked a quirk drove Asahi’s father to near madness. His father was a mechanic who’s sought technology to offset his lack of a quirk, designing many different types of machines to help him fight crime. It wasn’t long before he created his masterpiece: the Warrior One. This powered exoskeleton would allow even a quirkless strength and durability to match most heroes, and allow “Normal” people to stand toe-to-toe with those with quirks.

However Asahi’s father fell into evil. His hate against those with quirks was so great he turned to villainy. When Asahi was just a child he was often forced to help his father with his projects, and when he learned of his quirk his father was abusive. Even his wife, Asahi’s mother, left her husband when his hatred grew too much for her. It wasn’t long until eventually his father snapped and used his Warrior One to ran rampant in the city, fighting heroes until he was eventually stopped. But refusing to accept defeat, his father killed himself in a last ditch attempt to defy those with quirks.

This tragedy hit his family hard. The police raided Asahi's home one day after the battle, taking everything away. Asahi moved back to his mother, but they both were at a lost at what to do. His mother never supported his father's actions, but for Asahi, his father was all he had. He may have been abusive but he took care of Asahi and taught him everything he knew. But he also planted seeds of spite and hatred against those with Quirks. Even his mother could not nothing to truly stop the growth of darkness within him, and it often worried her. It wasn't until one day when Asahi was coming back from school that he came across a mysterious stranger called Rust Warrior.

Rust Warrior was one of the heroes who fought against Asahi's father. He had managed to disable and control a majority of his father's armor, but wasn't able to stop him from activating it's self-destruct. Rust Warrior tried his best to save Asahi's father, but he was too late. He appeared to Asahi to tell the young boy his side, but also to hear more about his father. Asahi spoke honestly, mentioning his father's great hatred for those with quirks, but also about his passion and desires to use his powers to help others, to show the world that they didn't need quirks to do great things. Asahi also told Rust Warrior about his own seething hatred brought about from his father's teachings and death. But instead of scolding the boy or punishing him, he gave the young Asahi a gift and advice.

He told Asahi that his father was a good man who had fallen into a dark place. That his dreams and desires were not inhernntly evil, but darkness had consumed his goodwill and twisted him into a villain. But Asahi was not like his father. He was still young enough to be able to do what his father truly wished to do: to become a hero. so in memory of what his father wanted, and not what he became, Rust Warrior gave Asahi the only thing they were able to scavenge from the ruins; the destroyed battery from his armor. Rust Warrior wasn't able to make any use of it so he gave it to Asahi as a memento of his father. But after he left, Asahi soon learned that while the battery was far from functional, there was still enough of it that it could be replicated, thanks to Asahi's knowledge of his father's power armor. It was then that the young boy realized that Rust Warrior was giving him a second chance; a chance to do the right thing with his father's creation.

Ever since then Asahi had continued his father’s legacy, however with a different purpose. Even after Asahi found out about his quirk many people looked down on him simply because it lacked any exciting or visual ability. Simply having mechanical talent, without even being particularly more intelligent for it, making him seem like a mockery in both heroics and science. But instead of holding hate in his heart, Asahi sought to use his father’s armor to for a better purpose: to be the hero that his father always wanted to be. Utilizing the guidance from his quirk Asahi studied and learned how his father created the Warrior One. And by the time he was thirteen years old he learned how to recreate it.

Many years passed. Asahi worked tirelessly to make his dream come true. His biggest obstacle wasn’t his power nor his strength, but a different aspect of society often overlooked by heroes; Money. Despite being a skilled scientist nearly all his father’s income went into his projects. Asahi's family lived in a poor neighborhood rife with crime. Asahi was always tempted by that dark side to earn easy money to fund his endeavors, but the worse he ever did was skirt around labor laws to find jobs he was technically too young to do. He found hardworking but good paying job, and with his mother pitching in every now and again, he made enough money to create his own powered exoskeleton. It wasn't as advanced as his father's, and the power source was much more crude and inefficient, but it ultimately the exoskeleton was usable. Once finished, instead of calling it to Warrior Two, Asahi gave it a new name: The Guardian One. It had a new duty to fulfill.

Not to destroy. Not to kill. But to protect.

Supporting Characters: 

Asahi’s mother, Hitomi Goroshi. Despite leaving Asahi to his cruel father after his death the two reunited. Hitomi’s quirk allows her to create an astral projection in her sleep and often used this power to watch over Asahi while he was with his father. She supports Asahi to use his father’s knowledge for good, even though the memories still pains her.

Rusted Warrior, a mysterious hero who Asahi had once met while going to school. His quirk allows him to control and manipulate machines and he was key to defeating Asahi’s father. He met Asahi to ask him about his father, and since then acted as a sort of parental figure for the boy. Asahi doesn’t know his real identity and doesn’t often see him, but like a mysterious stranger he often arrives at key points in Asahi’s past to guide him in the right direction. The original cause for Asahi to use his powers for good instead of evil.

Other:
Asahi spent much of his early childhood working on the Guardian One and nothing else, neglecting both his studies and his health. While he's certainly able to carry his own heavy loads, he's never really bothered to do much exercise beyond what would be necessary to handle the strain of the Guardian One. Without it he's about as strong as you'd imagine a big guy like him, but without any quirks in particular to help him become super human.

Understandably, Asahi’s heroic career is highly reliant on his power armor. His quirk would allow him to improvise weaponry and equipment given the time and tools, but like a wizard Asahi doesn't do well if caught by surprise. He has to be prepared ahead of time if he hopes to stand a chance.
