So. I decided on a whim to look up the character used for the surname Hou in Chinese, and see what it's meaning is when used as Kanji in Japanese. Oooooh boy the Japanese propaganda is going to be wonderful. 

When used as Japanese Kanji, Hou (侯) means princess. In addition, "Saitan" means shortest. 

Hou is known as the Little Princess in Japan. My inspiration to write has never been greater.
