“Well you know darling in all honesty gifts aren’t really for men at weddings we’re honestly just happy for the person we came to see but I do like the idea of having small replicas of my DeLorean given as a party favor to all the men it would be unusual while also being rather fun” Jack said smiling at Gwen happily before looking over at the wedding planner “Listen miss I know you don’t know me that well so let me tell you something about me that only a few people know. I am a perfectionist every little detail has to be absolutely, positively perfect so I am trusting you with the future of Gwendolyn and myself. While I don’t like to be mean I want to warn you though if you mess this up I can make it so where you never work in this town again” Jack said smiling at Gwen she’d know that he was only being his playful self with the wedding planner. Gwen would know that Jack could never do something as mean as getting someone like their wedding planner fired. “You know that actually is fine with me” Robert said smiling at Michelle “We can have the music room on one side and then the bedroom on the other side of the house. Not to mention the music room will be heavily sound-proofed so where even while I’m playing music you wouldn’t be able to hear it while standing on the other side of the door to the music room” Robert said honestly. That was when the music of the forbidden piano began wafting through the hallway which caused Jack to immediately stand up and go see who was playing the piano. As the song ended Jack was stunned his sister was in fact the one who was playing the absolutely beautiful rendition of the most love song from Jack, Robert and now Gwen’s band The Lords of Captivating Hearts. The song was called ‘My prayer’ which was written in a dark period within Jack’s own personal life it was actually wrote about how much he loved and missed Amanda. Robert began clapping as the song was over “Amanda darling that was absolutely beautiful the song couldn’t have been better if Jack himself had sang it” he said wanting to praise the young girl he knew she probably hadn’t received many compliments while practically being imprisoned by Jack’s ex-girlfriend and her family who never wanted Jack to see his sister again. Amanda blushed which really made her face turn a really cute pinkish color she wasn’t used to compliments so she was really embarrassed and when she was embarrassed she got very shy for some odd reason. So without missing a beat she hopped off the bench and ran as fast as she could toward Michelle the woman who had earlier told her that she was Amanda’s new mommy. As she ran her bare feet slapping softly against the marble floor. As she got around the couch she hopped onto the couch and crawled over to Michelle and she pushed herself up against Michelle as if trying to hide inside of her. Slowly she looked up her own beautiful blue eyes looking up into the eyes of Michelle. Her voice came out in an adorable, almost inaudible squeak “Mommy save me” she said pushing herself more into Michelle’s side. Amanda looked up at Michelle however when she started speaking about how she would let Amanda come over to Jack’s house and get taught how to play any instrument she could want from her brother so they could have a bonding moment between the two if it was alright with Jack. Amanda’s blue eyes got big as she stared at Jack awaiting his answer she was so excited that her little frame was shaking. “Really?? Please, please, please Jackie can I come over and play instruments with you.. Pleaaaaaaaase?” Jack looked from Gwen to Michelle back to Gwen before answering “Well I don’t see the harm in that. As long as you two as well as you Gwen are alright with it then I personally have don’t have a problem with it. I could always use some more time with my adorable kid sister I mean we’ve been separated for so long that it was unbearable. So whenever you want to princess” Jack took his keys out of his pocket as he pulled a spare key from the keychain and walked over kneeling in front of his sister as he handed her the key “This is the key but before you open the door you need to put in the passcode four, seven, thirteen” he said knowing that his sister would get the reference. “Wait four, seven thirteen. Momma used to sing us a song that she had wrote. It was a really long Italian name that we didn’t want to say even though we knew Italian so you, mom and I sat down and we decided to call the song four, seven thirteen because that was all three of our favorite numbers” Amanda said remembering vaguely where the numbers came from. She also remembered that her mother used to use the song as a lullaby to put her to sleep. “How does that song go again” she asked out loud she did it as if to try to get herself to remember not actually talking to anyone else. Robert smiled as he watched what would become his new daughter hop off the piano and run to Michelle using her as a shield like a normal child would do with a mother. Which meant a lot to him because now he had his own family. Yes it would be larger because he had always wanted to adopt children in need but for right now Michelle, Amanda, Jack and Gwen were his family and they were the best family he could’ve ever asked for. Jack stood slowly from his kneeling position and he went to sit on the piano. Lightly running his finger’s across it. Even he hadn’t touched this piano in years because it hurt him every time he did. For when he touched this piano it would make him remember the good life with his mother which would then make him think of his sister and that caused him to hurt and cry. Which he never wanted to do so this piano had become forbidden until Amanda had played it today. Everything was running through his mind and while some things in his past were vague and he couldn’t remember them clearly one thing he did in fact remember was being a small child sitting beside his mother on this exact piano while she played him the song that would eventually become the song known as four, seven thirteen. Jack’s eyes closed shut as his fingers began playing the keys as a beautiful melody rang from the keys being hit the silence only lasted for a few seconds as Jack began singing the words to the song in an operatic tone. This was something he had never let no one know he could do. Not Gwen, Robert, Michelle of Amanda. As he sang his voice boomed powerfully yet still beautiful. He truly sounded like an opera singer as he sang the song and with the power and emotion he sang the song with it was easy to know why Italian was called the language of love. As he finished he sat there looking at everyone to see their reaction. He had never had the courage to sing opera in front of anyone even though he did so beautifully. So he wanted to see the face of everyone in the room since they had heard him for the first time.
