[b]Description:[/b]
Thanh is a short only just turned 10 year old, like her mother, and slightly round due to being spoiled by her uncle’s cooking. She’s a cute young girl who is the only daughter of Linh Phan, born in a drunken fling with a man than Linh could not name and could barely describe if asked to. Her dark and straight hair is almost identical to her mother’s. Though when she was younger it was kept long it has recently been kept in a cut that means it falls just below her shoulders. It is often tied back into two braids, or pigtails, but Lihn – though at least with it shorter it’s less likely to get messy if not tied back. Her skin is a golden colour, the paleness of it compared to Lihn (and even Kei) quite telling of the fact that her father was Caucasian. Her eyes are green, having lightened somewhat in the past few years, which are large and set in her round face. 

Thanh is still cheerful like she was at the age of 6, but has grown considerably more confident and adventurous. She is still quiet around people she doesn’t know, and doesn’t have an easy time making friends with other people. However she loves playing outdoors, often tumbling about the garden causing Lihn all sorts of pain when she comes home with dirty clothes. Not to mention the fact that she drags her mother and Kei around on all sorts of walks, or sometimes just disappears without telling her mother at all. Due to her powers, which have developed, Thanh generally gets along better with animals that she does humans. Because of her tendency to just run off Lihn got Thanh a dog two years ago, a German Shepard named Chi. Thanh loves Chi, and spends most of her time with the dog by her side. 

[b]Power:[/B]
[i]Animal Telepathy & Scrying[/i]

Thanh’s ability is cerebral, just like her mother’s and grandfather’s. In the past three years her mother has helped her gain control of it which means that she can block out the thoughts of animals around her and only listen when she wants to. Thanh’s power has also developed as she has begun to use it more. It comes in two parts;

[i]Telepathy[/i] – This is Thanh’s ability to speak with animals (though of course they do not get more intelligent when she does) and to also read their thoughts. It is pretty similar to normal telepathy, except it only works on animals and not humans. While Thanh can now choose when to use it (well, similar to Lihn she blocks out the thoughts) she hasn’t developed it much past talking to various animals – especially her dog. But she is only 10, and will develop it more as she ages.

[i]Scrying[/i] – A recently discovered part of her power Thanh can essentially perceive through an animals sense, by sort of going into their mind and experience everything as if she were the animal. This means she senses everything the animal can. She can communicate to the animal she is scrying to a certain extent, but at the moment cannot control the animal but is instead just seeing through it’s eyes. Her own body is helpless while she is doing this. Thanh rarely uses this ability, mostly because her mother thinks it could possibly have dangerous side effects.
