Yeah, sure. 

The most important thing is to clearly state how much and what kind of summons you have. Rule of thumb is that the more summons you have the less powerful will they be individually. You can even have a summon that is like a swarm of rats where each rat is weak but the whole group is dangerous. [@zellected]'s is too open and thus difficult to balance.
